Saw that on BBC this morning - was just about to purchase 4 x Cape Town.... thinking cap, now on!
they are working on 3 desalination plants at the moment and hope to have online in time to avoid running out. Cape has a Mediterranean climate so hopefully rains might come later this year. They will try to avoid impact on tourists if they can

C'mon, they aren't anywhere near as bad as a Kingo. I had the misfortune of having a HQ for a couple of years.:(

My first car was a HQ. It was gold coloured and very simple. Even I could jiggle the gear thing under the bonnet when it jammed. It had character. Some scumbag stole it and smashed it. :(

My next car was an LH Torana. Same ultimate fate.

I did more than a hundred thousand miles in an HQ Holden. I moved to Toyota and then Lexus. Funniest car I have ever driven was a red Plymouth Fury where you could fit 7 passengers as it was so wide.

So Perths new stadium food & bev sees about on par with Sydney.

What $1.6b buys at the cricket

Pretty disgraceful.

The best years of my life were spent punting those old clunkers, my work HG ute had an adventurous life in the fast lane.
Now ,when I could easily afford a shiny toy, the magic is gone… sigh

My friends dad was one of those guys that would find a old car for about $500 and get it up and running very easily.

My friend loved driving around in them, it was fun seeing men/guys take a second look at the car with this petite young lady driving.

I remember her first new car and "It has power steering!".

We had a HQ Kingswood from around 1979 until 1999. Dad's first car. Our family's first car. Must have done close to 300,000 kilometres without any serious issues. Loved that car. Wish it was still around.

Why do people on an already advised full flight, board early (that’s ok), but close the overhead bin with only their luggage inside, and sit in the window aisle seat with their seat belt fastened when the middle and window seat are still empty?

They've been assured middle seat and window seat have been blocked and even if flight is full they expect the shadows to hold.
