My sons oldest friend is Director of Performance Science for the Philadelphia Eagles (SA bred, born and schooled - Go St Andrews, Go Pembroke) and against all odds THEY WON Super Bowl. . Complete underdogs. James will be set for life. He started post Uni at Adelaide Crows doing biometric feedback as a volunteer.

Go RADelaide.

His parents now live in Canberra and aren’t listening to the radio so on FB I’ve alerted them as they are replaying his interview in the sports news each hour. Because both commentators are former Crows players they remember James and so are ‘owning’ him.
I put a personal blackout on this thread from 10am Monday until I had watched my recording.

I didn’t consider this a spoiler as it was shown on TV. Social Media. Everywhere. But I did want to alert - you. I usually post on the phone.

The Russians certainly make their presence known in Koh Samui and coughet.
Another 2 places I'm not likely to visit anytime soon.

The Russians are not so bad now. Less of them the past few years with their financial issues.

If you have any concern, I suggest you do employ the SPOILER facility - it's new for AFF since the switch to XenForo.

I have become very adept at avoiding results - I do record and watch Redzone most weeks and do the same for another 30 or so games ... and the playoffs. It generally Wednesday ot Thursday eveing before I can get to MNF.

It is harder for the Superbowl; one of my Superbowl techniques is to basically avoid social media. I was a bit fatalistic this year as I had to go out Monday night and could not watch until last night - but was successful. :D

An employee has a big birthday coming up so talking to his kids about him to get some info for a office celebration.

Found out two things and Ive worked with this guy for 10+ yrs;

1. Was in a bike crash and declared dead... came too with sheet over his face.
2. Was robbed one night and next day missed his flight, that plane crashed and there were no survivors.

Why can't you recycle plastic bags, they are plastic aren't they.

I did wonder why you couldn't recycle plastic bags.

Most recycling facilities are set up to handle predominately rigid (hard) materials that are easier to separate using machinery: aluminum cans, glass bottles, plastic containers and lids, metal cans, cardboard/paper, etc. They generally don’t accept softer items such as your ready-for-retirement college sweatshirt, your beer stained carpeting or your stash of used grocery bags. It’s not that used plastic bags, wraps and film can’t be recycled into new materials – they simply require a different collection system and processing equipment than many curbside recycling programs provide.

Great video from youtube.

That's why Coles and Woolies have separate collection containers specifically for plastic bags, and a few other plastic bits and bobs that can't go in the standard recycling bins (at least in Queensland/Brisbane).

Things happen in threes - but some higher entity sure wants him to stay on this mortal earth as he still has things to achieve...

Hubby has spoken, Cobber Pedy is off, Painted Silo road trip in country Victoria (via Adelaide) is on.

Me: You do know, there aint no Hilton nearby?
Him: Im sure we'll be fine (says the man that said the Marina Bay Sands club room was "roughing it").

You need to go the long route then via Great Ocean Road and through Coonawarra. Painted silos in Coonalpyn also.

Cooee Cobber :)
