No. But have more variety. No George Clooney but.
The problem with them is a lot (like the hot chocolate) require the flavour pod and a milk pod, so you only get 8 drinks out of a box rather than 16.

I read of women obsessed by Mr Clooney, but I’ve not found him to have much variety either.

MrsTMA was disappointed when I brought home a Jura coffee machine since she expected the picture on the box to indicate the contents. Picture was of RF.

Add I started to read the second para, I thought you were going to say that you brought home George Clooney:). Why did the coffee machine box have a picture of me on it ( or George Clooney ... same same  )

Hubby has spoken, Cobber Pedy is off, Painted Silo road trip in country Victoria (via Adelaide) is on.

Me: You do know, there aint no Hilton nearby?
Him: Im sure we'll be fine (says the man that said the Marina Bay Sands club room was "roughing it").

You need to go the long route then via Great Ocean Road and through Coonawarra. Painted silos in Coonalpyn also.

Cooee Cobber :)
So shall I get the spare room ready? I am between Coonalpyn and the Great Ocean Road. ;)

I have enough HH pens to make sure Mr Denali feels right at home.

All has been revealed now! I feel really sorry for his wife and daughters!! Barnaby Joyce fractured family life
Sins of the father: Why not publish Barnaby Joyce's baby news?

Joyce, a Jesuit-educated Catholic, has long proclaimed the sanctity of traditional marriage. He has often spoken of his conservative “family” values.

During the debate on same-sex marriage Joyce advocated against it, saying he believed marriage was a heterosexual institution that had “stood the test of time” and was “a special relationship between a man and a woman, predominantly for the purpose of bringing children into the world”.

Hypothetical: If a person who at one stage held, albeit temporariiy, the highest job in our nation, had / is having an affair, is it in the public interest, esp if he is now seeking reelection? Just wondering....
We've had a temporary Governor-General? o_O

I know who/what you're talking about.

My view is that as long as it is consensual, no public benefit accrues to the other person and that the person seeking re-election doean't make any hypocritical comments about 'family values' etc then I don't believe it is in the public interest.

Depends if he/she was a religious person, which goes against their religion.

Well it is quite public knowledge in some parts of the country. It was put out on twitter but the original tweet was withdrawn. The affair in question was over 20 years ago.
Considering who made the original tweet it was highly inappropriate.

The hypothetical comment above is apparently still active, hypothetically speaking of course.

Depends on his public persona. If hes fire and brimstone, God is good, all the rest of us are bad, gay is a sin, you should all do as I say and not as I do blah blah blah - release the video/photos of him diddling the office junior (hopefully male).

If hes just a dude, OK with how others live their lives but still does his job well, then Im meh. I'll worry about my own life and marriage before I waste energy on what an old guy is up to with his and his cough prescription.

As long as he / she doesn’t try influence <possibly related> issues.

Bill Clinton is seeking re-election?

:)

Well it was for President Clinton. In the highest jobs or being a public figure (actor etc), there is very limited private life that can be (or is) kept quiet.

Yep, I agree. His new woman was obviously pregnant long before he announced he was separated (and I suspect before the family knew the full extent of his affair). His words to parliament that he was ‘currently separated’ sound a bit if an understatement in light of this.

Well I guess it is current and they are separated ;) And it’s a heterosexual affair. All consistent obviously in his eyes.

It’s interesting how everyone in politics is not going to comment. Glass houses and all that I guess.

But how has the media making this public helped his family?
Many current politicians on all sides are in similiar positions. That doesn't make it right But does bring up the question-Who should be allowed to have a private life?

Here’s a treat for Denali. It was cooler earlier though.Rooflyer would probably think this is balmy. :)

-3 here in Edinburgh at the moment, brrr.

Would love that right now. Adelaide a bit toasty at the moment.

I hate Ticketek. I bought expensive tickets to the now cancelled Neil Diamond concert. Ticketek advised that refunds would automatically processed to the credit card and we didn’t need to do anything but it would take 10 business days. Fair enough. We are now up to 12 business days and it seems most have not received the refund. I’ve tweeted and posted on Facebook and they have the nerve to say it’s been processed. I’ve reported the transaction to the credit card now and they have quarantined the payment pending investigation. They seem to have a monopoly on tickets but they clearly aren’t very trustworthy. We need to disrupt their business model and get competition.

You won't get the booking fee back though!

Well in that case I won't mention the HH clock radio* in the spare room!

*Legitimately obtained I might add.

Old one or the new cube style?

Much as I disagree with and dislike the hypocrisy of Barnaby Joyce’s decisions in public and in private (amusing that it’s very often the strong ‘principled’ catholic males who ‘run off’ with new younger partners leaving wife and kids), I agree with your comments. Australia has had a long tradition of not bringing personal behaviour into politics in the public arena. The Libs abandoned much of that when Gillard was in power, nevertheless, bringing those around Barnaby incl his wife, daughters and new ‘partner’ into public discussion does nothing for public debate on politics. The issue should have been left out of the public eye.

Politics should be about policy, not playing the man or woman.

Ah, the old one.

That's what I was getting at.

Financial crisis? Pah! Seen 'em come, seen 'em go (actually, didn't see 'em come  but anyway ...). Markets recover and its the earnings that matter.

All this talk about risk/reward (well, my talk, anyway) got me a little teary ... fondly remembering the good old days of Poseidon and Tasminex ... and Bre-X! When I get home tomorrow I'll dig out my Bre-X share certificate and post a pic.

Who hasn't read The Official History of Blue Sky Mines? Penny dreadfuls with NL status ... now they used to be fun. No Liability, except at gunpoint, as Pierpont used to say.

And if penny dreadfuls don't give you enough entertainment, get into the unlisted miners. They'll get yer fizzers clicking, baby! Your eyes will be so far out on stalks you can give the back of 'em a polish. Launched and developed one myself, once, with a couple of mates. Didn't quite make it to listing day shall we say.:rolleyes: But hell, it was fun!

Mate of mine worked for Poseidon, in fact I think I sold them a bit of kit too.
