Life is funny.

I bought tickets to Neil Diamond - childhood legend and my first ever Album - Hot August Night I grew up with. Then sadly cancelled. Said to my son who was going with me (MrP away) that the only other person I had to hear in live concert before I well, bucket list sounds better, was Celine Dion but who only seems to perform in Las Vegas. Hmmmm.

Low and behold, a week or so after Neil Diamond cancellation but Celine announces her Aussie tour. Yay. But no SA. Sigh. Oh well, must go to Melb that week for work ;). And we can walk to the stadium.

Tickets successfully purchased this afternoon with the AMEX pre release. Yeah.

Must admit, next visit Vegas, hubby wants to see Celine.

Sorry you didn't get to see Neil Diamond.

You have to get a Myki (They cost $6 for adults. Any concession would need to be organised well in advance, but they can post it to you). When are you coming? I can post you a Myki.
I have about a dozen cards because someone is good at leaving them behind and needing to buy a new one.

Thank you for the offer, but I did order a card on-line today. Also purchased Sky Bus tickets to Southbank.
Arriving Thurs 1st March, leaving Sunday 4th.

Bleed?

You pick a design you like and edit it directly. Change fonts, font size, colours etc. You can upload a logo ect.

Printers usually require that you carry on the colours or patterns at the edges of the page to be printed between 2 and 5mm beyond the edge of the area designed to be printed, to allow for the paper possibly shifting a fraction during the printing - else that would be white and the customer would complain. That's the bleed.

If you design something off a website, it probably automatically incorporates some bleed. I have a custom card designed in Lightroom, so it should be good to go, but I forgot to specify any bleed. Will have to take my chances I guess.

Mr ALH is still peeved that I didn’t book Neil Diamond . Anyone would think he didn’t have his own credit cards.

I’m really kicking myself that we’ve missed out.

Hot August Night wasn’t one of my first albums, so you must be much younger than me.

I really enjoyed the Diamond concert, some songs were very moving and it was just a fun night.

He wrote so many good songs for other artists as well.

Nah. I’m a slow learner.

I also loved the bee gees and had planned to go to a Sydney concert but with young kids, being Sydney, well, too many dollars to spend. Next time I said, and there never was. That’s why this time I splurged on the Neil Diamond tickets for great seats. And that still didn’t work out. Third time lucky?

You can say that again.

When starting that post I was thinking of you

I’ve been really trying to remember my first album. It would be either David Bowie, Cat Stevens, Helen Reddy or Olivia Newton John. Terrible memory atm

I vividly remember the Friday night years later when I bought Hotel California. I think we’ve listened to it once a week for the past 42 years
