Actually, talking to yourself is fine. It's when one cannot reach an agreement that the problems start.

Although JohnK has signed up over on FT, he still hasn't posted...(well, last time I checked when he sent me a PM on FT and it said Posts: 0 )

I wonder if I should start a book on when JohnK will break his drought

That's Easter Saturday...

I reckon it will be around 1st May (MayDay).

Maybe JohnK will be eternally silent in there. But assuming not, I'll go with May 29 (just after ozFest!)

I am lucky I have a 50/50 strike rate there.

It seems this thread has just about reached the level of inherant stability.

After walking a razor edge of being somwhere between ONT and OFFT with each and every new post, it has now reached an equilibrium since most posts will now be ON Topic to at least one other post within the thread and at the same time be OFF Topic to at least one other. :D

There, you shold now be able to post away here with impunity..... :P

At the risk of being told that I am often OnT on this thread, and to keep regular AFF'ers happy, I will continue to refrain from posting here!

Go on JohnK, you know you can do it...

There... that last post didn't hurt much now, did it?

I still think the right thing to do is refrain from posting in this thread to uphold the integrity of AFF!

Wot!

Posting in a Sandpit Forum on a thread with this title affecting the integrety of AFF?

"au contraire mon seigneur", posting here is this thread's "la raison de existent". It's Lindsay's baby and I'm sure he's delighting in watching it grow. :D

Apparently the Roman emperor Constantine refused to eat fruit and vegetables. He died of constipation.

Cleopatra, on the other hand, died of aspiration. Perhaps not unrelated to the first Christian emperor's demise.

Yes but continuing to post on this thread pads my posting count and I lose respect from the AFF community!

IMO, post counts do not equate directly to levels of respect....

I believe it's the general content of one's posts, their usefness/infomation content and the tone of delivery that's more important..

There's nothing wrong with the odd flippant post when the majority of your posts create value to the forum.

Print a copy of this thread and take it with you on your imminent Asian sourjourn and read during a long flight; I'm sure it will cheer you up. :)

Given that a 'sandpit' has now been created and members/guests may choose whether to read posts here or not there should not be a problem with posting here.

Oh.... OK serfty you have convinced me to continue posting on this thread.

Was there ever any doubt?

The playground has been neglected for a few days now. :(

Can we hire a handyman to get rid of the weeds that have grown in here.

Sorry, had other things on my mind so not been coming here...

Weeds removed, edges whipper-snipped and lawn mown. Looks like a bowling green now...

Well done Lindsay. Send me the bill. :P

Hmmm.

Seems the clean up you performed the other day Lindsay has gone to waste. :(
