It seems this thread has just about reached the level of inherant stability.

After walking a razor edge of being somwhere between ONT and OFFT with each and every new post, it has now reached an equilibrium since most posts will now be ON Topic to at least one other post within the thread and at the same time be OFF Topic to at least one other.

There, you shold now be able to post away here with impunity.....

IMO, post counts do not equate directly to levels of respect....

I believe it's the general content of one's posts, their usefness/infomation content and the tone of delivery that's more important..

There's nothing wrong with the odd flippant post when the majority of your posts create value to the forum.

Print a copy of this thread and take it with you on your imminent Asian sourjourn and read during a long flight; I'm sure it will cheer you up.

Given that a 'sandpit' has now been created and members/guests may choose whether to read posts here or not there should not be a problem with posting here.
