Our cricketers are not nice people.

"We didn't step over the line. We came close to the line but did not step over the line."

What line? And who determines the line. It's unfortunate that someone's family wss brought into this affair but it's time the Aussie cricket team started playing cricket and stop all sledging.

Hope Rabada gets nothing. Nowhere near as bad at what Lyon did to de Villiers and Warner taunting Markram at the other end.

You can't dish it out and whinge when they dish it back. Hope South Africa scores big and Rabada a century but I'm hoping for too much.
Yes, it’s all our nasty players’ fault. What lovely human beings and warm-hearted individuals are the South Africans. Nothing like barracking for anyone Australia plays against is there.

About time you started commenting on the next Ashes trip as well I’d have thought?:p

Don't worry - you'll get there. Its a bit harder when the digits are doubled and there are 2 more zeros on the end, that transportation toys seem to attract.
flights excepted
Hubbys hobbies are expensive. I use to joke that a mistress would be cheaper.

I just rediscovered this picture.

Well that was a waste of 10 minutes, the only thing of remote interest in the Russel Crowe auction was the Pro Hart painting, which I could put next to my David Hart piece.[/QUOTE
I liked the Brett Whiteley but not on my budget

Rooflyer - could you please keep your fingers crossed and pray to the Tassie gods to keep that nice weather going as I arrive NEXT Friday !!!

I'll do my best mrs.dr.ron, but I'm afraid in the meantime, I'll have to keep using it while it lasts. And to think, this time last year I was in Tahiti. Pah!

We'll piss that in. Poms in disarray and no one coming through.

I don't need much. The Jonathon Trott example of sledging and bragging does not get any lower from a human being. It is sickening and even more sickening from highly paid sportsmen.

Retail Food Group under pressure

Now saying Michel’s patisserie has a “French Cafe Heritage”.

What a load of carp. It’s never been a French brand.

Last time I bought a cake from MP, I had to take it back because of the shoddy quality. Haven’t been back

The only RFG brand which is good is Crust Pizza because the product is made to order. It after a few orders it’s becoming ho hum
Coffee is better at independent baristas not Gloria Jeans

Cakes from Michele's are incredibly overpriced.

I buy (for office birthdays, farewells ect) from Cheesecake shop and they have a loyalty card so get a freebie every now and then and the cakes are great quality. Had the Beesting cake last time, really yummy light sponge with honey fresh cream.

Edit: ORdered from Crust in Tassie last year and it was terrible. So disappointed because it was Crust.

I miss small, independent bakery sausage rolls. Have to go to Tassie for some nice pies & sausage rolls.

Stories like this make me so angry, granted they may have been a dysfunctional family and there were reasons for noncontact, but for the poor bloke to have been dead for 2 weeks before he was found is just so wrong

At least his dogs loved him and I'm glad that somebody will look after them, even if the "family" couldn't or wouldn't.

Non contact happens for a lot of reasons. Maybe he had no one to contact him, maybe he was toxic or abusive, maybe he outlived the others.

What a good time to close the road into SYD T2 & T3 and let the police take care of traffic policing.

Waited nearly 25 minutes and in that time only let cars in twice and only just made it through. Made check-in by 6-7 minutes which is too close for my stress levels.

Penny Fours in Leichhardt does a good sausage roll on the weekend. And their croissants are some of the best in Sydney.

Bourke St Bakery do a pretty good pork and fennel one too.

I worked in a patisserie as an after school job and loved making the sausage rolls - mince meat, onion, garlic, grated cheese, tomato relish, dried oregano and basil. They were topped with cheese and black olives or Parmesan and breadcrumbs.

On the pie front - there is a cafe called Village Green in Lane Cove that does a pretty good pie. Closest I have had to NZ Bakery pies!

And they also do a mean lamington.
