Sit down in dentist waiting room.

Chap adjacent asks me : "Where are you from?".
Me: (thinking wtf?) "Here"
Him "You look like a farmer"
Me: no comment, gets out phone
few seconds ....
Him: "What type of phone do you use?"
Me "Apple iPhone"
Him "What were you thinking?"
Me: No reply and Thinks - I can't wait to get into the dentist chair today!

Just thought I should share that :) TTOTT random thought # 635.

Hubby went to our local vodafone store, his phone isnt due to be replaced until July.

He walked out with new S9+, accessory pack, phone cover and traded in his old, old phone. New monthly charge is now $15 cheaper per month.

The trade in covered the $129 break fee.

Kind of agree with him though, what were you thinking :p

Sometimes when we're waiting for the cinema to open, because we're old farts that like the early morning session (before it gets crowded and noisey and parking is hard to find), we see the super early morning oldies training sessions at the Apple store. Not a person under the age of 55.

My phone was due to be replaced around 12 months ago and with latest Apple update it’s been dreadful. But I’m in analysis paralysis. Not sure if I want to abandon Apple IOS totally (I love my iPad) but not convinced I want to go android. Consequently I do nothing. Too much information for me to process.

I spent a couple of hours making my new just out of the box phone exactly like my old phone. Same apps in the same spots, some ring tones, same wallpapers ect. Exactly the same. But better, but the same. :)

Drives hubby nuts.

Yep. I’d be the same. Same same but different in fact.

Sounds like @blackcat20 about 12 months ago until she did something :p

I was smart and ditched the iphone for a samsung and dont regret it for a second.
Really? You were an Apple fan too. Mmmmmm. I don’t find android very intuitive though. And all those apps.....paralysis again.

Car was just t-boned by a tram outside my office. Driver has finally emerged and walked to the ambulance. It's a common occurance as cars turn right across the tram tracks, this one just did it really badly (brand new car too).

I dont think there are any signs, but trams have right of way, so not turning in front of one should be a no brainer. Those things are heavy!

Those trams are deadly. And so quiet. I’m surprised there aren’t more accidents esp with so many tourists. I wonder if that person was a tourist.

Too many car drivers fail to look before they turn. Trams always win.

As for hook turns when I was learning to drive a bus we had to drive through the city and demonstrate we could do one in the bus. Frankly if you can't do it then you shouldn't be driving.

Although, I believe hook turns are one of the big problems with self driving cars in Australia. The other one is kangaroos.

I said exactly the same thing to Ron when we were walking around Melbourne CBD on Saturday !!

I bought a brand new Samsung Galaxy S7 in December. Still using S5. The S7 has done a few trips with me already sitting in my jacket pocket.
