Pity those who are on call overnight. Most awards don’t pay extra for the 2am extra. Nor do they pay less for the 1 hour less in 6 months time

And the excuses used by those who are late for work on Tuesday carry little weight

Have just been working on two of our BAS accounts so that I can use the Westpac Amex before that Amex card is no longer.

I question where we are as a country. Our PM grandstands in the press re the cricket and from my prior listening to him, I believe he has limited knowledge of the game. Today hidden away in the press is an update of the Storm Financial debacle. I doubt the press will approach the PM (he has a strong background in finance) for comment and I doubt the PM will call a press conference to give an opinion. Obviously I am not privy to all info of the case but I wonder what you have to do to incur the max fine
Storm Financial heads fined $70,000 each

I am absolutely astonished how Manny (Cassimatis) got off so lightly.
Mind you, what isn’t widely known is that quite a number of other groups indulged in the same methods , and furthermore it was a Colonial Margin lending template. I was encouraged to follow the same format. Needless to say, I saw it as way too risky.

I was lunching with a colleague in Milton, and two people walked by , both were wearing the grey QF PJ’s. Shock horror!!!
I don’t like even being seen on a plane with them on

How was the US serfty?
Sunny in Miami, Denver & Los Angeles.

Snowing in Chicago and Charlotte (the latter was much to the surprise of the locals).

It rained in San Jose ... but I did like the us$2.50 fares for the tram downtown to/from the airport.

They shouldn’t have been because in December or January their southern neighbour Charleston SC had snow.
I think that snow surprised those in Charleston back then as well.

(Snow had been forecast for the the NE USA (lots) ~Mar 14, but not in SC.)
