I worked 3 days so I can fly out on Wed. I do emails and some work while I on leave but 10-20mins per day while hubby naps reduces my return to work anxiety.

Castle Hill Bunnings is huge as well, need a golf cart to get around it and multiple floors also.

Lot of cleaning was done this long weekend. Mostly by the robot vacuum and the robot mop while we were out at the zoo with our 13.5 month old son.

Though he didn't really care for the animals but loved the ferry ride there and back

Both hubby and I need supervision at Bunnings. Spent $400 on Easter Island moai heads and hubby went back for more.

So you recommended the robot vacuum? Ive been thinking about it.

1yr, such a cute age!

Yeah I have the Xiaomi one and it's great. Still need to do a full vacc once a month or so.

The everybot mop though has me really impressed. Works really well just with warm water.
There's some prep work involved though like ensuring nothing in the way. Chairs are up on the table or spread out so it's not just legs under the dining table.

Yes cute but testing his boundaries everyday already!

Bunnings UK is now offered for sale. I guess the Australian management did not know the UK has a very, very short summer so BBQs and outdoor furniture are not really the hottest sellers like in Australia.
If you want a sausage sizzle over there you had better hurry up and get there soon.

Went to a new (ish?) Bunnings today, near Holden Hill. It's just massive! The store is actually 2 storey. Yes, a 2 storey hardware!!

Went to 3 Bunnings today
Castle Hill double storey, Dural (about to be expanded and Thornleigh (the smallest of the 3)
Luckily had everything down pat so did not have to rush back to Bunnings for a 2nd or 3rd visit as is the usual practice.

Dural fishing club providing the Sangas at Dural Bunnings . Incredibly they were still frying at 3pm

Managed to find what I want in Thornleigh. Castle Hill and Dural did not have stock.

Put up some wall storage (the Bunnings version of Elfa modular storage) because Mrs QS want more drawers and shelves. Not enough for her clothes and shoes apparently.

Gosh! Who would have thought! Sheer incompetence IMHO. But the managers took home millions in salaries I expect. Bugger the shareholders.

!

We had one until I accidentally stepped on it in the middle of the night. Never replaced

......

Bunnings UK. The Brits don’t have much of a backyard and no lawn to mow and they don’t know anything about a sausage sandwich. What’s Bunnings doing there?.

The Container Store chain in the US has a brilliant range for storage and shelving. Worth a visit if you are visiting Los Angeles as there is a store in El Segundo quite near LAX.

Yes either 90210 or El Segundo were popular in a AFF land JT. I always think 90292 as that is where Cove building is located. Our building was used as a set for a sci-fi movie a few years ago.
The cars in the parking garage can be pretty amazing but I am happy to rock up with a rented Toyota Corolla or Camry and park next to a Rolls or a Bugatti.......Go Argus trawler site...

I was suppose to do a deep house clean but don't have the time or energy. Might send only heir a text saying if we die in firey ball of death, sorry for the state out of the house and get cleaner from the $$$$ inheritance.

We get the cleaner to do a departure and arrival clean ... best way to arrive home.
