We’ve had a front loader for some years and I love ours. The only thing that is annoying is finding a sock that was dropped enroute to the laundry - no adding it quickly to the wash!

I’ll fling you over some of our possums then.

We have enough of those of our own thanks very much, they are eating Erika's lettuce at the moment, but they don't like the mizuna lettuce and definitely won't have a bar of the kale. :)

Also the only criticism we have with our Bosch front loader is not being able to add missed items after the cycle has started, as per FM's post above.

we should have possums, given where we live - I think the fur babies keep them at bay. Haven’t ever touched my herbs, not even the flat leaf parsley.

I bought a new telly nearly a year ago. A 55" UHD. It has taken me until now to get a UHD Blu-Ray player and disk* to watch on it.

Gosh. Now I need a bigger telly.

Edit: *Alien Covenant.

I still have some superannuation with AMP from a job for 10 months in 2000.

For the most part, I've consolidated most of my super to a single account.

[Still trying to find some from some previous work, no-one, even the tax office seems to know where it is hmm...]

That's quite good. I'm still at 3 accounts but AMP has been performing well recently and I have left the funds there for now. Will try to get it down to 2 funds at some point.

Thanks mrs.dr.ron !
We try hard to be as normal as we can be.
Sometimes we fail.
There was a sci-fi movie produced at the Cove so that’s as close to Alien Covenant as I can get.
Turning up in a newish Toyota Camry rental at the Cove means we had one of the least costly cars in the parking structure.
I still think our local Costco and the Container Store are two of my favourite stores along with our local Ralph’s supermarket. Staff at those places can almost understand the language we speak.
I guess to them we are Aliens.

If the spider isnt an immediate threat to my life (ie funnel web, red back ect), I leave them alone. Only once found a red back and sorry, it was flamed with aerosol.

Ive shared our laundry for many years with various huntsmen - only when they come into the rest of the house do they get a talking to.

I was bitten by two red backs the first week in this house. One of them was in my bed.

Strangely enough I’m still not afraid of spiders despite the two trips to hospital.

They are however, the spiders I will kill and I have the house sprayed every year.

I believe one of my uncles was also in Darwin at that time, a quick search last night found he was in the 2/2 Anti Aircraft. His number stated with "SX", which I thought denoted a signalman as per my father.
Trove and the AWM site have so much information and so easily available, but when is all that information too much? It's so easy for someone like me to get sidetracked.

We had a kale discussion a while back, not sure why MrsC planted it, we do eat it occasionally, but it's not a regular item, good roughage though. :)

SX for a service number represented joining in South Australia.NX was NSW etc.
