I will be at Hornsby RSL...... daughter in competition being held there, if I remember correctly when Dianna got married I was at Bankstown Sporties that night. Just to be clear, that was probably the last time I was at a sports club.

They have nicely revamped their restaurant bistro area.

Nat Geo doco on the Virunga gorilla murders is interesting (and disturbing, usual corruption) and then I google to learn more and find out that only last month that 5 rangers were killed and in 20yrs, 150 rangers have been killed in the region.

the Congo is a huge problem with rebel forces etc. It’s why I don’t mind the fees that are charged by Rwanda and Uganda and also giving tips to the porters and guards - the more economic benefit you can create for the gorillas the more protection they get. It’s not just the rangers protecting the gorillas who get killed. Rangers fighting elephant and rhino poachers in other parts of Africa also put their lives on the line and they are killed as well.

We don’t have a TV. Stopped watching about 18 months ago. We read and listen to music instead and occasionally watch a bit of Netflix on our iPads.

I guess I will see photos of the wedding in a magazine next time I’m having my hair done.

Ditto! 2nd royal wedding in a row I've been out of the country. Will & Kate I was in the SIN QP on my way to Oz for a friend's wedding (that was a weekend trip LHR-PER in Y..... somehow survived). This one I'm over in Ireland for wife's god son's first communion.
