Running. Good luck with that. Something I don't do.
Why do Jumbo/Large eggs cost more than small eggs ?
It's not as though you need to feed chooks more food to produce bigger eggs and yes I know that the older a chook gets then the bigger egg it produces.
The only cost I can see to justify this extra cost is the grading. So if you don't grade the eggs and just chuck a doz. into a carton then the cost would be lower. Of course this lower cost would be passed on to consumers
Do we need to start a campaign here ?
We get 18month old rescue laying hensI buy the jumbos - I can only imagine how painful it is to push one out so thats worth more money. Pity the chicken doesnt get a cut.
You should be packing.I will miss the telecast too. As I will be watching something, anything, else.
Nail - black board
Teeth - pulling
They do eventually. Just below the head.Pity the chicken doesnt get a cut.
$ for a dozen? We buy eggs from a farm that has 330 birds to a hectare .... the norm for free range is around 1,500
There are battery hen rescuers. Some woman with a big hat is sitting in front of Elton John. It would be cool if he had a hissy fit and ripped it off.
