Why do Jumbo/Large eggs cost more than small eggs ?

It's not as though you need to feed chooks more food to produce bigger eggs and yes I know that the older a chook gets then the bigger egg it produces.
The only cost I can see to justify this extra cost is the grading. So if you don't grade the eggs and just chuck a doz. into a carton then the cost would be lower. Of course this lower cost would be passed on to consumers :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Do we need to start a campaign here ? o_O:confused::rolleyes:
 
A B&B host was telling me, she had chickens, that apparently its a 3 week process to create and push out a egg so if they lay every day, thats a lot of eggs in progress.

Well you get more bang for your buck.
It's like comparing a BMW 7 series to a 5 series to a 3 series.
Sure they are all cars but somewhat different.
 
Some woman with a big hat is sitting in front of Elton John. It would be cool if he had a hissy fit and ripped it off.

I would like to have a chicken, just one. Very cool pets and super easy to train.
 
The ODC in me is being driven crazy because the veil is not balanced at the rear and needs to go to the left a bit more. Thats what happens when you leave 10 toddlers in charge of the veil.
