The totally off-topic thread

Spoken by someone who has no idea how much can be accomplished by/with an iPhone.
I know enough about it and believe me when I say I am not missing out on anything significant and I may actually be able to survive without an iPhone....

Gah. Somewhere between going to catch a bus from the city and getting off at the office I managed to lose my NAB Visa Debit card. Wallet is about five years old, and it must have just slipped out of its card slot.

3-5 days for a replacement, and not having any other credit/debit cards I'll have to trudge to a bank Friday morning and draw some cash to last the weekend. Of course that'll mean going through the rigmarole of signature checking & calls back to the home branch.

You'd think in this day and age, with all the technology, process automation and the like that you could get a replacement card issued overnight. Just lucky this didn't happen overseas.

Is anyone else enjoying the really long thread on Platinum access?

I am thoroughly enjoying it :p

Umm off-topic.. my cereal package had a hole on the back and now I can't close it and don't have a suitable container, not sure whether to chuck it at Woolworths or just take it and accept it!

You want my opinion? I am thoroughly sick of it.

There - probably said something which is going to result in me getting jumped.
Nope, I'm with you. 55 pages, and the conversation is descending into splitting hairs.

I'm somewhat surprised mods haven't jumped in to help back things off a bit.

I'm with you on that one :!:

I can’t read fast enough and some of the replies are absolutely huge!

I read 20 posts and I’m still not caught up for the day, and I’m on here several times a day, so even I can’t do it :p

They’re perhaps just as disgruntled?

Yeh, I kind of just skim over them now. That's all they're worth to me. ;)

I sort of agree, I start with the most recent posts and read the replies to the quotes, then the quotes and sort of move up till I can’t find anything new… :p

And of course multi-quote along the way ;)
