I actually like the teaching - it's fun, especially when you get to play with manikins that blink/talk/breathe! It's the research component that I can't stand.

My hat goes off to anyone that has to do these sorts of jobs permanently. They are better people than me.

I guess too many 730am Saturday clinical teaching cases on my W/Es off have worn thin over the years....don't get me wrong, I still (have to) do a lot of teaching...:-|

Ah, I'd get bored if it was that sort of teaching - I like the fully immersive simulation sort of teaching.

Apparently they have been tinkering with the air conditioning at work while I was off sick and it so happens that the air vents directly above me now have a very strong air flow which creates drafts around my desk. :shock:

I am very cold and my feet are frozen.

I cannot understand how these companies install air conditioning in offices and then have no idea to control the temperature evenly across the room. It is always too cold here and too hot over there or too hot everywhere.

We are certainly over-subscribed. Its always more interesting making a flip-flop from discrete components rather than cheating with the IC versions .

Drama at MCY today.currently 2 JQ planes and 1 DJ plane sitting on the tarmac awaiting engineers.The JQ engineer arrived on the MEL flight and as soon as he has cleared the SYD flight apparently has to work on the MEL plane.
DJ are awaiting an engineer from BNE.Mrsdrron is on the DJ flight to MEL and may well miss her QFlink to DPO.

That depends on whether one is constructing an SR, JK, D or T type flip-flop, of course.

The first step is to construct the NOR or NAND gates required for the sequential logic circuit, and the simplest of those would be a basic emitter-follower, so probably start with NPN . Then add a diode and drain resistors and you're pretty much there.
