URGENT: Should I go for 5C or 4B on the 734??

The two version I see of the 734 on Seat Guru are 4 J seats and 6 J seats, so surely the way to capitalise would be 4B, though I don’t see a 4B anywhere so 5C would make more sense. I’m not sure?

Sounds great. If it's a bite to eat, then perhaps around 1. The usual place has been mentioned which is the mill hotel I guess. But anywhere is fine for me.

The Mill suits me fine as I do not have to go very far although I will leave it up to the other guys if they want to suggest another venue.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think it does. I understand that 1 to 6 are all converter rows and hence have the extra leg room. I'm sure someone will correct me if wrong.

I stuffed up again. Went to change tomorrow's booking on DJ and I can't as it is now inside the 24 hours. Silly me I did not realise the Blue Saver had a 24 hour change restriction. I thought it would be something like changes on the day of travel not permitted.

Oh well. Means I am going home for the weekend as I am not going to throw away a $200 airfare.

Currently shacked up in the ICN CX J Lounge, catching up on over 2wks worth of AFF posts and threads. Sorry to all if I've skipped over some good ones.

Lounge here is comfortable, but no better than a reasonable QP back home. At least the wifi is secure with no captive portal you're forced to go to.

Food selection is lacking, but since the room service continental breakfast back at the Grand Ambassador Seoul sucking greatly, I'll eat virtually anything I can identify right now.

Too late now probably, but row 5 has the Business pitch of 37"; the same as row 4 on 734's.

Rows 1-5 are convertible.

In fact row 6 has a pitch ~35" being the first row of the non convertibles.

Bit of a shame John. Things are getting a bit easier for me so I should actually make it to a do in 2011. It's been a Lon time coming for me.

Bit of an update on my plans. I'm in Brisbane for the 150th birthday of my former army unit. Just found out that there are having a parade through town tomorrow at 10am. I'm going to that and meeting at 1. But with the parade on town will probably be a total mess. So happy to do a raincheck as I'd hate to stuff you around.

I might consider it but I need to get myself a job and an income first, if I do, I’ll book a late flight there, but right now the costs are just too prohibitive for me. Sounds fun though! :mrgreen:

Well have just used my first WP privilege. Checked seat availability for QF31 in Jan, all of a sudden the front cabin is open for me and I was able to select an aisle seat in row 12.

I could like this WP stuff. Now to fly again and soon, so far looks like early December for the next flight after completing 27 commercial flights in the last two months.

Anyone know what is causing the delays to DJ today? I am assuming bad weather somewhere but it does not appear to have affected QF.

IIRC there was a delay this morning from MEL that then got longer when the flight had to return because of a strange odour. That aircraft was then probably grounded for a while.
