So one flight has caused chaos in DJ's system.
Perhaps it is best to have some buffering through the day so the schedules do not get too far behind at the end of the day.
So happy to do a raincheck as I'd hate to stuff you around.
Probably works out best seeing JohnK is already a scratching.
Just heard on the news that there has been a methane gas explosion in a NZ coal mine,29 people, including apparently 2 Australians are trapped underground in the mine near Greymouth.
Just awful, lets hope they can get them out quickly.
IIRC there was a delay this morning from MEL that then got longer when the flight had to return because of a strange odour. That aircraft was then probably grounded for a while.
There may have been weather issues as well. Some JQ, DJ and QF flights going to/from the North were also delayed. Luckily my flight was on time and got into SYD at 22:30.That was my guess, there could be other problems, but yes, if that’s what happens after one flight it’s not good.
Any updates?Technically this broke yesterday. I recall they managed to get two out and to hospital but then hit a snag of some kind. Not sure what’s happened today.
Any updates?
What seat number? Flight?...
The journey home starts, no idea how good my seat is, currently in the T3 BA first lounge. ...
What seat number? Flight?

Probably departed by now but it appears to be a "Pacific" 744 (http://www.qantas.com.au/infodetail/flying/inTheAir/ourAircraft/744-14P66J40PY187Y.pdf)53D it went from 40C on 4 class ver 1 to ver 2 and I ended up with 53D 2nd row of economy; I could live in hope of other things. :-|
So which aircraft, serfty QF10,
Just watched a Strategic A320 take off on RW11 at 0800CST from DRW to Christmas Island call sign "Strategic two zero zero three".
Well I have decided to take the wife to the US (mainly so I can try F) and scored 2 seats on the A380
Now looking at booking the return using FASA and  can not get two seats for a reasonable price, even for next Nov.
Looks like we may be slumming it in J for the return.
