Digital Cameras

I have a Canon EOS 350D (which I think is called the EOS Kiss in Japan). Still learning how to use all the features, but I've found it easy to use and the photos look good.

Camera Farm are a good place to buy digital SLRs. The EOS350D at $1329 was good value, for all the creative features the camera has.

I've got a D70S and it's a beautiful piece of equipment. Apparently the D70 and D70S have sold more than Nikon's suite of other cameras combined. And I can see why - the D70 is only a couple of years old and the D70S was released earlier this year but already they're classics (think ipod).
Thanks, BlacKnox - and others - who have sung the praises of the D70s. I just popped out at lunch and had a look at one. Reeeeeal nice - I will borrow one over the Chrissy break and give a whirl. Either D70s or D200 will be brilliant, me thinks - just a case of working out just how much $$$ I want to blow!

Why is it the older we get the more time it takes to recover from a heavy night of drinking?

No Christmas party. Just my normal Wednesday night drinking/pokies session till 2 am. Can't wait, a couple of hours more at work (not sure why I call it work today, haven't done anything) and then some serious sleep.

Ah yes, the office Xmas party - just finished ours and now I need to do another 2 hours work. Lucky I didn't drink much (Thursday 6pm regular gym appointment - and have to drive).

Hmm very interesting...........

No posts tonight since 6:43pm (5:43pm non daylight saving time). :(

Those work christmas functions have really taken their toll.

Anyone ever use the Friends Reunited site. It's good to read what old school buddies and ex work mates have been doing over the years.

Most of my old classmates are on it. It's interesting to see what has happened to everyone over the years.

I'm just trying to picture the look of utter disbelief and  when regulars log in tonight to see a brand new thread already 3 pages in length in under 8 hours and they missed all the fun...

Spare a thought for those of us that weren't here for a few days, and then find this thread.

How about trains? On the Railpage Australia site there's a complete forum devoted to Off Topic topics called "The Lounge". Some very funny stuff there (relax it's moderated).
http://www.railpage.com.au/f-f36.htm

Other Transport also gets discussed which is where planes come in.

I assume 'thadocta' who posts here is the same as the one on Railpage (as I am the same Warks) -relax - it's not all anorak-wearing trainspotters - a lot of commuter commentary - and some of them wear flannies.

Nothing in too OnT or OffT for this thread.

I'm just posting this while I sit and watch the line of traffic still waiting to enter Chermside Shopping Centre...it's almost 12.30am and because of the 32 hour continuous opening, people are still shopping for that elusive present for Aunt Doris....

Scuse me if I missed the lion king session but no I did not attend any christmas function until mine on Sunday, and then I fly away on Monday. Wish I could fly away for a while longer than this christmas, like the next couple of christmases.
