Earlier this month mrsdrron and I flew QF BNE-ADL.Using QFF she flew 1008 miles but I using Aadvantage only flew 971 miles. Her wings were obviously flapping harder!

In NSW, I just received a letter today from the sitting Labour MSP asking me to vote for her so that she can continue to protect our electorate from Barry O'Farrells government

Just made a deposit into my karma account. Told the pub they gave me change for a 50 instead of a 20.

Brisbane QP has become a test site for new beers in the QP (J) lounge.

Saw Boags there tonight, which replaces Bluetongue. Think Crown has been removed. Fat Yak (on tap) was switched off. Heineken was still there.

MEL still had Crown and Bluetounge.

To think there was a time when HP's were the drink of choice in the QP

Haha, yes! There's a survey to fill out that lists various beers (that I assume they're going to try). Had beers like Asahi in it.

Amongst the other new beers, I think there was Superdry, but I'm stretching my memory for more. Really, once I saw Boags - it was game over, nothing else will be looked at!

Shame the Fat Yak is going.

In other news; in my short time over here I've now moved one step further up the ladder, drinks are on me

Watching the Pakistani's give the West Indies a lesson in playing ODI's. I'd be embarrassed to be a WI player after this match.

True that. At least throw the QP one decent beer, cos everyone knows almost everything else is brewed under license from the same giant beer pipeline (i.e. it all tastes ****). And that does include Asahi.

Does the QP still have Coopers?

Well done, D1.

I hope this promotion does not mean many, many more late nights and used up weekends, however.

I wonder what they do to decide the actual mileage. It does work in our favour sometimes - for example on a recent status run in AA First, ORD-MIA is 1197 miles in AAdvantage, but 1204 on QFF, which gives it 120 status credits - much nicer.

That's good to know. I might be doing a status run some time and that sector is clearly a favourite. I always used to weigh up the economics conservatively, however, since the best I have is GCM distances, not QF's database of distances. So I always estimated the lower. Good to know it can fall for the better in this case.

ADL-CBR is another example of a "close call", although the GCM distance gives it as just over the zone 1 boundary.

is there a listing somewhere online? Is mileage monkey accurate for this?

If not, perhaps we need a thread or sticky or /xls file for members with this info?

ISTR one of the members here had started something similar?
