Those pesky international flight numbers between BNE & SYD keep catching people out - mainly QF8, but QF20 also a culprit. So many people turn up at the Domestic terminal unaware that QF8 departs from the International terminal.

Trouble is with more and more people doing online bookings there is no process anywhere that screams "your flight departs from the international terminal". I understand Expedia Travel itineraries just say "departs terminal I" which people wouldn't really take much notice of.

Another reason to checkin in with plenty of time to spare so you can still get around to the international terminal if you have to.

Cousin of mine made the mistake in CNS to go to DRW on JQ. I didn't even think about telling him as I assumed people check and double check what they book.... sometimes I forget that people call me a Frequent Flyer Freak

It worked :!:

Thanks for the confirmation :)

(Am still working out what signature I want on my AFF Android app... I've played around with many, but realise that my Android posts tend to be short, sharp and have more errors than my usual posts (yeah - this is hard!!!). Can be easily read the wrong way. Never fear, I'll get there eventually.)

Anticipating a short game, are you?

Generally the first Test doesn't go for the full 5 days :o but I have been going to the first 3 days since the late 80's (with my Dad, Uncle and group of clients - most of them are there for the full 5 days). Now with having wife and kids, no ability to extend but no real reason.

Test. Test. Test

And by having silly signatures when posting from mobile devices people need to remember to remove the silly signature when quoting that post.
Did the test work? ;)

Is Firefox churning through the version numbers or what? Installed 7 today - was on 3 just a few months back.

Word has it that for some reason the Firefox development team decided to commit to regular updates / releases, for whatever reason or whatever degree those updates / changes are.

Cementing this commitment was basically this change in version numbering. I suppose now sub-versions (i.e. versions less than a unit) are reserved for very quick, critical (security) fixes that must be pushed out ASAP.

I think the new approach isn't a great idea as it destroys the idea of clear steps in changes between unit versions (e.g. there are clear differences between FF 3 and 4). It's also turning plugin writing into a minor nightmare.

(for more accurate explanation, best to look it up)

Ok computer technical people I need some advice please.

I have a yahoo email account and when I log in it tells me to change my screen resolution. I don't want to, I am happy with how it is so I can see the screen properly.

So what do I do to stop this nuisance message?

Thanks

I posted this on the 20th and was wondering if anybody had worked out a work around yet?

If you go back to the previous version of Yahoo Mail (It's a link down the bottom of the page), it should always then launch a version that is compatible with the small screen size.

Otherwise, if you bookmark a link like: http://au.mg5.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?reason=ignore&rs=1 (This is available at the bottom of the page as Continue... Go to the newest version of Yahoo!7 Mail ), then use that link rather than accessing mail.yahoo.com, you won't get the prompt each time.

The vagaries of golf. I win my social golf club monthly stableford competition with 40 points but lose my concurrent matchplay Quarter Final on the last hole (my putt lipped out to make it all square). I don't know whether I'm happy - I lose 2 strokes on my handicap :-( and don't get to win back-to-back Matchplay comp
