Heck there is a member here who was violently ill a while ago due to shellfish. Good to see he is still posting even if he apparently does have to work during Christmas period.

My food options have gotten a lot better... yesterday had a laksa (veg), nasi goreng w. Shrimp paste, and countless sticks of chicken and beef satay. Mmm.
Can't forget the Malay halal beef burger either. Fully cooked but meat was red. Still trying to work out where the colour comes from.

Oh yes he has:In France I assume? Recall you being in the U.K. recently.

Oops!
There's some interesting forums] on FT; it's amazing how so many can grab a little irrelevant tidbit ... and use it to obfuscate the main issues, including trying to use it to discredit the messenger lest their rosy viewbe challenged.
I winced when I read that mention [BP's] in your opening post - knew what was coming.
I see you regret mentioning that facit - too late now. If you hadn't, many would have simply ignored the thread anyway, pretending it did not exist and hoping it goes away.
Anyway, I do hope you can get some good feed back on the issues.
Cheers,...
PS - When I posted:You might like to post that on the ... forum; they have in-house social media monitors who may be able to assist with service recovery/feedback.
(At the very least it should set the post rate up.)
I did not expect that many posts ...

Yep, good that BA people have been in contact.Hi serfty,
I'm blaming you for all this
Assuming you got my PM in reply?
Contract signed. Now to brace myself for being a pin cushion as I get all the required vaccinations  Getting the visas sorted will be easy compared to that:!:

I always just look the other way. Works for me - nothing more than a mosquito bite.
Of course, there's a little bit of a contracting feeling as the vaccine starts coursing in your vessels.

Good stuff. Glad it sorted out ok in the end.
What vaccs btw? I know neither of your new locations are glorious tourist places but still curious what is recommended or required.
Thanks for that, that really helps .. not!
Yellow Fever (required - need cert. The rest are recommended as I understand...)
Diptheria (maybe just a booster needed (less painful??) as I had these as a youth)
Hep A (not sure if I've had this one or not, and my vaccinations book can't be found back at home!)
Polio (maybe just a booster needed (less painful??) as I had these as a youth)
Tetanus (maybe just a booster needed (less painful??) as I had these as a youth)
Typhoid (not sure if I've had this one or not, and my vaccinations book can't be found back at home!)

This reads like you are going to Africa!
Polio is usually in the tongue.
tetanus is never less painful...
Thought that would get your attention! Noticed it after I had posted, and have been busy laughing. Yes, a few drops of what tastes like sugar water.By in the tongue, you mean something you take orally right?
Apparently there's just recently been a Polio outbreak in one my destinations, too (according to my GP here anyway).
