I am a smart phone user but then i see a new smart phone so i get it and then I go back to my old faithful Blackberry.

I have just upgraded old faithful BlackBerry 9700 to a BlackBerry 9780.

But I do have a I phone 4 and also a 4S and a 3GS.

I also have a Motorola Atrix and a HTC sensation good ideas at the time but didn't like them.

I am thinking of getting Samsung Nexus, love the screen.

Get the Foursquare app, then when you're near a IHG property each day you can check in and get 50 points for free.

But wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having no applications loaded? ;)

P.S I do go past the Brisbane Holiday Inn twice a day.

So you're missing out on an easy 50 points per day then ;)

I do believe it is time to kick off the time honoured European tradition of making and indulging in some mulled wine....:!:

And just in case anyone had any doubts about my luck! Don't!

The second hand laptop I purchased 2 weeks ago has also died less than 3 days after my other laptop died. Most computer shops are closed for the holidays....

A few strange facts about kul domestic wing airside.
You get security profiled when going through security.
There's no alcohol to be found airside.
No priority pass lounge, only a mh lounge.
Do not, repeat, do not follow the sign to the 'special lounges' Security really doesn't like that.
Very limited food and beverage choices.

Only 3 hours to go...

Oh and the in flight snack sin to kul with mh was peanuts. Thought all airlines had removed them for allergy reasons.

Not surprising given the national dish is a satay!

I have not seen peanuts on either AA or qf for a long time. Nuts yes, normally cashews or almonds or whatever cheap nuts they can find. But not peanuts.

Anyways, happy to be corrected.

I'm happy to be corrected, I just saw the 'nuts' part of peanuts

My memory is poor as well. But I was served a bowl of mixed nuts in the SYD J lounge earlier this year. Now that you mention it I can't recall if it had peanuts or just cashews, almonds and brazil nuts.

Sent from my iPhone using Aust Freq Fly app so please excuse the lack of links.

I thought people allergic to 'peanuts' were affected by any kind of nut or food containing traces of nuts?

I was doing some work during school holidays at a school in Charters Towers, one of the desks I was sitting at had a huge list of all the allergies of the pupils, i was surprised how many came up positive for being allergic to Band Aids!
