Reason #18 why you should not leave international roaming data enabled....
I did this last trip but when I returned I could not access the internet! So I called Virgin mobile to find a solution to the problem and was quietly informed that I was the one that requested global roaming data to be switched off before I went overseas. :p

Gerry Harvey today bemoaning his ability to sell online:
"
We're trying to do that with our Harvey Norman model and our Harvey Norman Big Buys model ... we'd like to be in that position,'' Mr Harvey said.''Whether we ever end up there or not, I don't know.'''Maybe the ideal thing would be to be an Amazon where you sell everything on the internet."

Web hardly working for Harvey Norman

Uh, yea, that is why Amazon turns over billions every year, can't accuse Mr Harvey of missing the boat...

And I get home to a Harvey Normal email talking about their great new website for photos!

Interesting that Gerry is back on that old chestnut considering the NAB online shopping survey that was released this week. 5% of Australian retail is online and 75% of that was from Australian based retailers. So what he's missing out on a share of 1.25%. GET OVER IT!

Not a great seat if its international config, in fact non existent!

At that point you're praying for an op-up to a Dreamtime seat.

Otherwise, yeah, you just might get bupkis.

Are there still many of those Dreamtime equipped 767s doing the rounds? Let alone deployed on the domestic network?

4 of them or 17% of the fleet

why not????

I am literally about to check in right now online in that seat (well 23A)!!

23A/B are crew rest on some aircraft, a sub will see you get slim pickings of the alternates, 23 JK much better ;), they are also bassinet positions so you might get bumped for an infant traveller, which has also happened to me but quite OK in my books!
