I'm not usually one for taking food pics but I couldn't resist tonight :

Affogato ( my favourite dessert) courtesy of Criniti's Church St Parramatta
Now to get thoroughly soaked tomorrow at the Easter Show ;)

Currently in the MEL QP (and therefore completing the golden triangle QP trifecta inside 24 hours!) and just watched an ambulance with lights on cross the tarmac and stop next to a QF 767-300 (VH-OGJ, for those planespotters playing along at home). Now, since this flight doesn't look to have started boarding etc yet, it begs the question why the ambulance. Perhaps transfer of an organ for transplant? Anyone got any ideas?

Update: QF plane VH-ZXB has now pulled into the space on the other side of the ambulance, so I presume the paramedics are meeting a passenger on the new arrival. Now my coffee is kicking in, I suppose that makes more sense!

Two of my favorite female members posting back to back - life this morning is good reading AFF :D

That's a big dessert PF. Hope you weren't eating it as Kate as you posted it. The sugar intake (and the coffee) would have played havoc with your ability to sleep anytime soon after the photo.

Just saw a plane passing high over BNE airport heading out to sea with contrails flowing behind - wonder where it came from? Markis10??

Thanks markis10, was too high to make out the tail design - but didn't see another plane so assume it must have been the TG

I often notice the contrails of NZ175 in the latter afternoon while it wends its way to PER as I'm at the footy at the MCG.

You should try the PF AR app - just point it in the direction of the aircraft and it tells you the flight info...

Alas, I am babysitting the kids (well, watching them sleep) whilst my wife is at Zumba.
Ahh, very honourable!

Looks like at least 1500 Glory fans will be attendance! Big contingent going over. Hopefully we can spoil your party

There was a plane passing overhead Geelong yesterday late morning at high altitude (with contrail). Any guesses what that was (....paging Markis10..... to the white courtesy phone......)
