Got an edr offer last night for 10% additional discount on clearance stock at dse Elizabeth street Brisbane.
Did others get it too?
Also discount there has now climbed to 50% on some items.
I bought a couple of things i was interested in. One was 40% off, the other 50% off. My additional discount didn't seem to stick though. Not sure if it should have been automatic when the edr card was swiped or the staffer needs to hit a button.
Verified discounts vs the online site. Store price should have been the same.

A bar would attract crowd, I'm sure. German pilsner, perhaps. The HSBC logo is prominent on the billboard in background. The chap is promoting something. I'd think vehicles of this size would be more of a promotional tool. Bit like the bike with trailer, often in sets of three, driven around the CBD to promote films, drinks, etc. Not tobacco!
A public servant injured on a work trip while having sex with an acquaintance at a motel room is entitled to compensation, a judge has ruled.
In the Federal Court on Thursday, Justice John Nicholas concluded that the injuries were suffered by the woman in the course of her employment.
Haha.Yes. I walked past. I'm important!
Luckily the noise did not carry that far.(And 'One Direction' is the correct answer.... and Didn't you hear the screams tonight around 11.30 when I assume the band arrived back at their hotel?)

Seeing as this is an aviation related site the question that immediately popped up in my mind is if this principle is extended to other cases then just supposeI have to say that the judge's justification kind of makes sense. Though, I didn't know that you were covered for anything outside of work or a work function (this is difficult - if you go to a restaurant to necessarily have the dinner you need on a work trip, should you be covered?)
says they would, but to my mind the key word there is recreational. If the applicant had been injured while playing a game of cards in her motel room she would have been entitled to compensation" even though it could not be said her employer induced or encouraged that activity."In the absence of any misconduct or an intentionally self inflicted injury, the fact that the applicant was engaged in sexual activity rather than some other lawful recreational activity does not lead to any different result."
Haha.

Well there you go. I did not hear it. Perhaps the noise carried up Edward St and did not turn off into Wickham Terrace!John. I heard it on leichardt street... It carried.

a QF pilot (or any QF employee for that matter) is on a layover and during their spare time decides to go bungee jumping and something goes wrong and
they break their neck will they be able to claim workers compensation? my reading of the judges comment that says they would, but to my mind the key word there is recreational.
Which to me implies something other than having been incurred in the course of employment.
However I'm not a lawyer.
Oh and BTW I certainly have sympathy for the woman in this case, having a light fitting fall on you would not be nice,in fact in some ways I guess she is
lucky she wasn't killed.
Cheers
N'oz
Maybe she should have sued the Electrician who put the light fitting on the wall.
Maybe the other party involved was the electrician.
As an employer if I have a staff doing an overnight trip and goes to the gym after his day of work am I liable for something that happens.
World has gone crazy
