Just had a spam email for a job as a surgeon(that would be interesting!) from a mr.Bod Carver.

You know when you fly too much when you don't mark your flights in your calendar on the day you travel, you mark them in 14 days before so you can select a good seat.

Row 3 on Virgin just has so much legroom!

That means you have to actually book flights more than 14 days in advance :p

But yes, I may do the same when booking in advance, especially for whY travel.

I've got two bookings in my profile, both 14 days out... I feel somewhat organised!!

I am loving that I log on to the Virgin site 14 days out and get the message "We have assigned your seat based on your previous preferences" and it's 3A :D Thats a win, Virgin!

Yep, I love it when you see 3C and I don't even have to open seat selection!

I think out was straitman who mentioned that it may still be a good idea to go through the seat selection process, least you find that seat no longer yours.

Posted on a wing and a prayer ...

I have 6, with 4 next month, but sales will do that to you.
You guys were making me jealous so I had to check.

I have 20 domestic bookings not including the 3 international bookings on *Alliance carriers and Virgin Atlantic.

No flights for October-December yet as I want to be free to pull the plug if I so choose....

Very little domestic these days; international is the go for me.

I do currently have 3 Business class Trans-Pacific's booked through March next year.

Discovered on the ground at LAX on Sunday that I can get motion sick when a plane isn't moving. Or maybe it was from the drinkies in J on the flight over from BNE the night before. Awesome crew on QF15 in downstairs back J cabin (the skybed cabin, not the F cabin with J service)

Any Perthites keen on the truffle festival long table lunch? 28-29th July this year, the Saturday lunch is WA chefs and Sunday is French chefs, 5 courses with wines.

I'm thinking about going to both, but we will book the Sunday first, and see about the Sat.

Finally through all my helicopter training now on the AW139 and the EC145. I'm now operational and will be starting Aeromedical shifts late next week!

I presume this is happening somewhere in WA?

At the annual Mundaring truffle festival. 30-45 min drive from city centre, so yes, Perthish.

Quite a nice afternoon and the event has started to attract interstate visitors too it seems. Truffle (for use in cooking) and truffle dishes (already cooked) can be had quite cheaply at the end of Sunday, which is another reason to go at that time.

Passport finally arrived from UBKA. Looking at flights for next week, can do just under £900 return which is not bad for last minute I guess on QF. BA slightly cheaper at £870.

Sounds amazing. Sounds like I need to plan better. Already committed next year for BR lunch.
Maybe 2014
