I think we've had this discussion before, they aren't that amazing.

Wash your mouth out with soap! :p Pure ambrosia.

Then you obviously do not realise that everything in the Qantas F Lounge is 7 star and cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Especially the eggs benedict.

The eggs benedict is a pretty nice effort though!

Oh I love the eggs benedict, think it's fantastic. But the chips are good, come to think of it I forgot to order some last time I was there.

I do not like water in houses. Hope that 2 feet+ is more than enough, straitman!!
Thanks. I don't like it either. I've done more than my share of flood rescues over the years.

The 2+ feet is above the other houses and they are still about 6 feet clear of the water.

Maybe I wasn't ROTHWTRDMC (to use your phrase), but she honestly have a misguided idea of her looks...and she was modelling herself, not the shoes - I couldn't even see them in her strutting.

Not sure where the right place to post this is but courtesy of another forum I'm on the link below is the weirdest and funniest eBay listing I have ever seen. The seller "Erica" is selling shoes using a You Tube Video of her modelling them. Pretty boring until 1.26 after that I had tears rolling down my cheeks

The Princes Hwy to Melbourne has reopened but the Sth Gippsland Hwy to Yarram and the Princes Hwy to Bairnsdale are closed and will be for a while.

Off to AKL tomorrow which is probably good timing.

Sounds like typical East Gippsland to me ;)

Most people know my dislike for Australian journalism ... But another *classic* example.

Glitch not cut cable to blame for outage | News | NT News | Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia | ntnews.com.au

A COMPUTER glitch in an Alice Springs school briefly stopped the feed to NASA of Venus's transit of the Sun - not an accidentally cut cable in a Northern Territory town.

Strange. Yesterday, all the hate was being pushed against Telstra and road workers in the NT who cut a cable during roadworks...

We checked in on our NZ code share to AKL a while ago. I made a comment to the lady about the inability to do seat allocation and her response was along the lines of 'I think you have pretty good seats'

We have just boarded and the seats are great as we all have been upgraded to Business.

What a great start to the weekend!

That's one of the funniest things I have seen in a while, surprised this has not gone viral!

I'm struggling to understand how you weren't aware you were in J.

How did Sue Oz react to the knock(s) on the Suite door this morning?

Enjoy Euro :mr green:

Another day another airport lounge, this time the LHR T1 star alliance lounge, not bad pity about the lack of beer, but what they did have was showers didn't expect that at all, was so thankful for them to be available.

Today I had a 10 hour connection that was shortened to 9 hours and as I arrived close to the 9:30am time for the underground the day ticket was half price. I went and had a look at the Cutty Sark which has just been reopened after a major overhaul. It is a fair distance from Heathrow to Greenwich but the frequency of service on the 2 lines and the DLR means I didn't have to wait long for a train.

Now off to Germany on LH on some of my BMI points, cash and points what a great invention pity its gone.

It was a 772 - row 3 in a 777 on AirNZ has different connotations to the same row on a 320.;)

Well seems I stuffed up my hotel status choice with DJ. Went with Priority Club, then found out my hotel in Glasgow turned into a Hilton (and so sign up for HHonours). Now SWMBO has discovered Hilton South Wharf for our weekend away at the end of June.

Add to that that I forgot my PC number when doing a last minute Crowne Plaza booking and got no benefit from the status. :( Given that is about the extent of my annual chain hotel usage it is a bit disappointing. Anyhow.....

What was the reason to go with PC in the first place?

Not ribbing you, just wondering.
