The totally off-topic thread

I thought it had died down BUT have found, after going off and doing some work for a few houirs, that the fire has erupted again.

...amazing what a container of (overpriced, but paid on my Amex) petrol can do when judiciously applied to a fire that has almost gone out!

Just delete yours and reply to my post, then the time continuum will remain undisturbed!
This is thread in which you can disturb time continuums with impunity; after a knife-edge start it achieved inherant stability around April 2006 and since them has become like a rock-hard edifice.

The Australian Frequent Flyer Online Community - View Single Post - The totally off-topic thread
It seems this thread has just about reached the level of inherent stability.

After walking a razor edge of being somewhere between ONT and OFFT with each and every new post, it has now reached an equilibrium since most posts will now be ON Topic to at least one post within the thread and at the same time be OFF Topic to at least one other. :D

... post away here with impunity..... :p

Okay, I have officially scrutinised it but I'm a little confused as to how to deal with it - as it is Off Topic as well as On Topic, all at the same time.

Well a koala and hot potato are probably two of the most off topic posts possible :)

Just keeping the continuum and off-topicness of this thread alive!

Wow, my prediction was right.. Mal did say "Just keeping the continuum and off-topicness of this thread alive!"

random post.

Ok, I'm going to stop doing this stuff now - lest I be accused of post padding to get my prediction for 140K posts across the line!

Aren't you supposed to make the prediction before they say it? :)

Maybe he was in a different space time continuum and the words are travelling through the vast vacuum of space?

Now how often do you get to use two words with a double U in the same sentence?

and how much residuum was left after vacuuming the continuum of space?

I blame Amex for the Amex thread. Just when we had clarity they have changed the rules again - shame on you Amex!

All is quiet on the Amex thread front at the moment. Tomorrows predictions:

1) Several posts on not getting any bonus points, but getting some other mystery bonus thing
2) Several posts on not getting any bonus points in any form
3) Several posts reporting on what people had been told on the phone
4) Several posts on what it means to have signed up before or after the 20th of Sept
5) Several posts about having a Qantas card and now I am not getting points
6) Several posts interpreting the Terms and Conditions, before and after the 20th of Sept
7) Several posts about what legal action might be take
8) Several posts about who to complain to
