This now has a higher post count than the AMEX thread again.

Well done all. :p

... and it's good night from me and it's good night from me also :!:

47 posts in a little over 75 minutes...now that's very Amex-esque.

Well done, I say. I'll also need to bid you all good night

While we're talking about random numbers, here are some "random" numbers:

4, 5, 20, 29, 38, 42, 360, 380, 666, 1400

See if you can guess how I selected each of the numbers. :!::idea::lol:

:p Hints:

  • All but three of the numbers selected have something to do with Qantas or airlines.
  • One of the non-Qantas numbers is an answer.
  • Three of the numbers above are measurements of the same units. (Of course, they are not necessarily of similar ideas.)
  • One of the numbers indicates that you are flying with Qantas.
  • The smallest number in the set describes a maximum.
  • One number above bears some resemblance to a current world situation of significance. (Or at least significant according to our supposed mass media.)
  • One number above has some recent significance to many QF (and only QF) forum goers.
  • One number above is fiendish by nature, but that's not the answer. The answer will be very fiendish to search for! In fact, it's so fiendish, you may need to reschedule your flight to make time to find it - now there is a hint...
  • One of the numbers relates to this Sunday. No it is not the date of this Sunday coming....

Whatever it is, I'm just glad I can "talk" again!

Went the whole business day without any AFF :( ;) :p

That's fine with me, I've been in a training course all day; and will be all day tomorrow... so saves me having a late night trying to catch up

Amazing how much work I got done yesterday...
I have to agree.

admin rang me yesterday afternoon. Seems he was changing servers and had expected it to take only a couple of hours in the morning, but it took longer. Then, depending on which ISP provider you use, some of them weren't pointing to the new server (whatever that means) - so I couldn't do any moderation yesterday as mine was still showing the message yesterday @ 5pm. Oh dear, now to go and check out the explosion of posting that's probably happened over there...

Gentlemen (and ladies, if there are any reading & posting), I am sorely disappointed in your lack of attention to this thread today...is it up to me single handedly to try to ressurect this thread :?: ... with the Amex thread getting quite a head start this aftenoon...

Who cares what POC stands for anyway?????

Person of concern
Person on crystalmeth (I can think of some possibilities)
Private or Constable
(I can think of a couple of rude ones, but decorum and the program here will not allow me to repeat them....)
