The totally off-topic thread

I really can't see the attraction of dual WP. I know in your case due to QF not flying where you need them to then DJ is more attractive. For me though if I was confident of either being able to be dual WP or P1 - this year I would take WP+ and AA.

If I was in SYD or MEL I would feel exactly the same way. The biggest bonus for me with DJ is being able to avoid Deathstar completely for flights and the status recognition and benefits are pretty good even allowing for the lack of a Lounge at NTL. If status benefits were ever extended for WP on Deathstar (luggage, seating etc) then I would view that as a serious game changer.

A number of us had a very similar discussion with Derek Baines from Qantas at the Gold Coast AFF6 dinner on Saturday.

He listened, but not sure if any changes are likely given the way JQ works.

And guys - aren't these posts ON topic? therefore could have their own thread? :p

Balloons?

I can only assume feper was on my most recent Qantas flight.

Does anybody else notice there is a gate agent guarding the premium boarding lane?

Does that mean they have adopted the 'schoolies week' phenomenon Tony?

Had to reply to this. Three years in a row I had trips to Sydney during Mardi Gras week and the Gold Coast during Schoolies. My wife couldn't work out if I was gay or a pedophile. ;)
I actually had the misfortune to run into my youngest son and his mates on the tear during Schoolies at Broadbeach a few years ago. Very funny stuff.

I know I'm in the minority but I just do not get the popularity of Revenge. Just about everyone I know is desperate for the next episode. :?:

With me it's season 2 of Homeland and season 7 of Dexter. Homeland is one of the most outstanding series ever made. Dexter used to be, and I'm only watching it now to see how it ends. I believe that there is another series to come (as there is with Homeland).

The other series I can't wait for is season 3 of Game of Thrones.

I'm enjoying the new season of Dexter (better than the previous two seasons), saving up the complete Homeland Series 2 to watch in one go, and eagerly awaiting Game of Thrones Season 3.

I asked at the lounge for a duplicate copy of my boarding pass for QF 2 ( for posterity as its my LTS flight), same has been brought to me after lots of questioning, hope I haven't cast any suspicion on myself
