Asked the CM journalist: "I looked through both Saturday and Sundays' Courier Mail, however couldn't find your article. Did it not make the editorial cut-off??"

Her reply: "Hi Lindsay, It's been held over for this Saturday. Editors are very fickle and unpredictable creatures. I will keep you posted."

Nice picture of LW and kids on page 19 of todays Courier Mail.

It's a very serious subject on skin cancer. I have also had a melanoma and about 25 carcinoma's cut out....not good.

The kids look great :D

Great pic. The story is online here.

Thanks to the early birds. Story also picked up by the Herald Sunhttp://heraldsun.com.au/news/nation...-pain-from-above/story-fndo45r1-1226513991460 - not unexpectedly.

Very important part of my life and I enjoy being a spokesperson for the Cancer Council as a survivor, as well as doing pro bono work with terminally ill patients referred from the Cancer Council (those who can't afford financial planning fees). Nothing better than helping them get their affairs in order, but still devastating when they pass.

Really nice work Lindsay..
Great photo & story, kids look cute. I can also share my experiences with skin cancer, so it's great to create even more awareness.
Fantastic to see your positive attributes & contributions to the wider community, apart from being the very talented official AFF social cricket commentator ;)
Wish you a nice day.

At this early stage it looks like we will be in PER. Just finished XMAS shopping tonight as our work finished early today in Los Angeles.
Gee I love getting 1.04 exchange rate.
Stay in touch as I don't know too many of those named in the famous threads.

It is a very sad day at Channel 10 with long term staff getting sacked. I saw Lachlan thought he was worth a 4 million pay rate before the place turned to hell in a hand basket.

Plus Tony Greig announce he has lung cancer and going through aggressive chemotherapy. Don't like his chances :(

Not as nice as watching the sun go dowwn over the Carribean from our balcony at the Hilton Barbados.

Good article Lindsay. Like you, I got sunburnt a lot as a kid, but have stayed free of melanoma. My father-in-law, a farmer, wasn't so lucky. Our kids have grown up (well, technically) but they have carried on being sun smart. Without being silly, of course. Vitamin D deficiency is on the rise....

Anyway, cheers and good luck.

Just saw a senior citizen on a gopher grabbing a sixth 1.75 Litre bottle of hard liquor into her front carry basket in our US grocery store to claim a 30% off deal at Ralph's.
Perhaps she was buying for more than herself or maybe it is a wacky diet. The cost of 10.5 litres would come to about $100 so it is cheaper than buying real groceries.
