I'm feeling positively a youngster in the marriage scene - 9 years + 1.3 prior knowledge of Mrs LW.

I started the second time around very late...had to ensure I had the right one, after an abject failure first time around at age 25.
Me, too! Well, feeling like a youngster in this marriage caper. 12yrs/16 together. Not quite half my life yet. Will be quitea bit longer to be half Mr Katie's life. ;)

Re: Browsing For Low cost Ugg Boots

Well I got a phone call and an interview without so much as making a call. The jungle drums work well. Also, as I'm over 60 I can access my (pathetically inadequate) superannuation to go with my (pathetically inadequate) redundancy payment. So things aren't so bad.
Edit: I didn't men to reply to the Ugg Boots posts. Still learning the peculiarities of this forum, sorry.

What is nice to see, is that others
believe it's worth having your knowledge and experience. Now to have a bidding war :D

At least both your pathetically inadequate redundancy payment will have a decent level of tax free component and based on your age, your superannuation is tax free :D ;)

Heavenly Beds as used by Westin Hotels in the US are now available at Macy's according to Mrscove. I didn't see them as I was off working. They are really good to sleep on so you may want to get one shipped.

Can't believe it !! Just been browsing FT and I've found a post of mine which Dave Noble agrees with (partially)
Now having a cup of tea and a lie-down to get over the shock :p

Help me to choose a destination assuming that the cost is the same: Montenegro or Saint Petersburg.

Will Veocity points do?

i know they have to do it, but to cut off my computer access even before I finish on Friday is heartless. I can't even pass on my contact details to people I've known for years. I've worked there for a quarter of my life, and they got more than a pound of flesh, but they don't trust me not to steal the customer database. When I go in on Friday for the last time I'm going to ask to be given access and have someone from HR sit next to me to ensure I only copy personal data.

Sorry, rant over. I'm coping quite well considering.

Sounds like a cough enviroment.

I know you can not say who you have worked for but it sounds very similar to another business that I have a lot of dealing with and how they treat out going staff.

Actually I don't mind saying who I worked for, as I won't be going back. It's a company called MEGT, and there were 16 staff in one office when I arrived there. I've played a large part (through successful tender writing and good strategies) in the company now having 1,000 staff in 100 offices. I would have felt much worse leaving 5 years ago, when it was fun, when we didn't have layers of management and when our field staff were left alone, but supported when necessary. We were also (not coincidentally) wildly profitable, with around 25% ROI. We are looking at a multi-million loss this year. So it's more sorrow than anger.

I replied to this in the Heavenly bed thread... Sorry to take an off-topic thread back on-topic. ;)
