Just arrived back from ADL, what wet weather? No :D, did hear about it, appears that only ADL was dry today (of the capital cities)

Thad would be right, MEL bucks the trend of the storms on the East Coast.

Rant...my flight delayed by 45 mins leaving ADL, then my bags (tagged Business) take until the third set of bags to come through. Then I get a Maxi Taxi in the queue.

#thirdworldproblem, I tell you :o

Reports from my family back at home celebrating my mother's birthday is that the power is out in Perth (approx 5 mins from CBD).

Doesn't surprise me, Flashware, this morning when I was leaving, there were predictions of 80-110kmph winds and 6-8 foot swell with some rain :D

Very strong winds here in Perth. A fair amount of damage around the city and suburbs.

I don't seem to be receiving FT thread updates via e-mail at the moment. Is anyone else noticing the same?

Edit: if I set to GMail, works fine. Looks like my mail server may be blocking.. wonder if they've made their way onto a blacklist.

Yep.. looks like they're blacklisted. Good luck getting them to sort it out....... I have e-mailed FT (through GMail), but if someone could post to http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/technical-issues/1397649-subscription-notifications.html also it might help? My account is in limbo at the moment due to trying to change it back to an address that I can't receive mail on.

PSBL listing info for 98.158.194.50

Unfortunately, because flytertalk.com got blacklisted, it's advised for that domain to contact their host or psbl.surriel.com to get themselves de-listed. After they're removed from the blacklist, it will take some time for that to update to our server's own list. This may take at least 4 hours after the de-listing through psbl.surriel.com, though we cannot give an exact ETA due to the time needed for flytertalk.com to get delisted.

Done.... Lets see if they fix it or not.

The fact that they're sending to spamtrap addresses isn't good. Very bad sign that they have some significant issues with the cleanliness of their lists.

Did sort out my TI - Went with DirectLine (used them last time I was here. Pricey, but good coverage compared to many on the market).

Oh and quidco pays back 25 quid ... so I suppose it wasn't too shabby overall (assuming it pays correctly!)

Good one, thanks. Yeh that's what I thought...

Not bad. One off trip or multi?

Annually. Quidco were paying 25 quid back until yesterday - today it's dropped to 18 rebate. Annual was about £80, but that included a few extras over the base policy.

It's sad to see the list of exclusions grow over time.
No volcanic ash cover (has been reworded that if a Government closes an airport or airspace, you're not really covered).
No coverage for insolvent airlines when you should know they're going broke.
No 2 wheel bike coverage unless you have a full motorbike licence.
No coverage if the UK Govt warns against you going to a country etc etc.

All fun,

Is Quickquid still offering a loan at 1734% APR on the SciFi channel in London?
If you borrow 1,000 pounds you would owe 2,000 pounds in 3 weeks unless you use time travel to reverse the date.
