Text from Shrek this am after disembarking from QF 128 :
I "get" the A380 first class thing

Think I might finally be onto something here ( it's his first ever A380 F) ;)

Anyone using the new mobile edition of AFF: does the new orange star icons scaringly remind you of Jetstar? :p

Yes it is a bit scary like that :)

On the plus side the update has fixed a few issues that I have had since changing to an ICS based phone (or maybe it was the bigger screen!).

And I know the coalition may not be a good alternative at this stage but it has to be better than another term of Gillard government.

Country isn't doing too badly, but sure, lets let Abbott have a go and see where that leaves us?

(In Android, it denotes a subscribed topic; in iOS it's the same except it only shows in the Unread section)

I was going to ask, but thanks for telling me!

You think that is due to good Gillard management?

Has the once off flood levy been abolished? And border policy is working quite well so this government can do no wrong. But hey give them another term so they can stuff up well and truly....

And I must be at an airport again! Weekends do not last long these days. Time for a break....

Do you not just add it between?

Thanks Sam - will try it morrow when I get into office.

I wholeheartedly agree that we should go with Abbott's policy of towing boats back to Indonesia, and in the process upsetting them ;)

GIF's don't seem to work/display on the iPhone app though.

Anyone still watching the cricket? :(

Haha, saw that they were nearly 600 ahead!

For the first time in a few decades, I haven't had a weekend.

I took a redundancy package just over two weeks ago, and the weekend which immediately followed was after some days work. The weekend after was our 40th anniversary, and pre-planned and very enjoyable. This "weekend" followed a week of non-work, so it wasn't a weekend.

Redundancy has hit home. I've not been able to do much at all this weekend, apart from cooking a couple of meals and sitting in front of a terminal or TV. I will snap out of this tomorrow. I just have to.

Blinky it is an adjustment. I now work 2 days (about 20 hours tops) and enjoy 5 days off. I increased my exercise and I now hurry home from the pool to start my days off.
Going to the gym or pool is good for keeping your mind in great shape.

Indeed you do. Since my redundancy I have made sure I have got up by 7.00am at the latest and done something meaningful. Now I have moved back to MEL I have applied for two jobs, and have a third application on the go. Doing meaningful stuff is essential and part of showing you are ready to keep going.

Hang in there it does get better if you keep going forward.

You just need to get in the rhythm............every afternoon is like Friday & every morning is like Sunday:D Enjoy, live & don't sweat the small stuff:!:

Work, pressure & grit will always exist.

I am. Thicky Ponting will have his work cut out to leave Test cricket on a high!
A hundred or a double hundred would be really nice. He is one the likeable people in test cricket.

Australia still in with good chance of saving game....

...but not one of the brightest!

This has been a bizarre test match. It would be quite fitting if Australia could save the game. I'm one of those sad people that could sit through two days of grinding out a draw and I'd really enjoy it. Test cricket is just the perfect game.
