Johnk you are such a pessimist , good to hear you are ok but it sounds like you lost your golf clubs.

You can tell all your friends on AFF what the problem is, all the best for 2013.
Still have the golf clubs but they are covered by travel insurance anyway.

Yep. Chin up JohnK. Life doesn't suck all the time. Enjoy the good bits and learn from the bad bits.
Actually life sucks most of the time and doesn't wait for anyone.

Will be glad to be going back to work! And if the air con isn't working at least there are walk-in fridges...

When I worked in retail many, many years ago... we had some refrigerated shipping containers for overflow of stock. They were outside. Jumping from 2 degrees or even negative 10 or so into 30 degree weather was fun. Then you would repeat the process etc.

Not fun.

and for some, the clean up begins. Wonder how many people are waking up wondering where the hell they are :o

Not me! 100% sober.

I can't agree with this more than enough.

or as my mates on marriage number 2 ( or 3) say
"just find someone you hate , have sex with them and give them a house "

it saves a whole heap of grief!

:)

C

still on marriage number 1 and planning on staying there!

As am I! I am blessed to have such a beautiful loving wife who would go to any length to bring out the best in me.

Actually life sucks most of the time and doesn't wait for anyone.

2 weeks ago I would have agreed with you, however I just can't agree with that now. I feel so enlightened and empowered and I really hope that one day you find that peace too.

IMO.. Disgraceful & ugly..
Clearly divines the inequalities & disparities of wealth in India.
if the ladies would be impressed by this - I would somehow suspect their integrity & judgement values

More suited to Shaggy or Mr T though!

I used to work in a bottle shop in the Adelaide Hills. If it got too cold I would head into the 4c coolroom to warm up!

I was went to a wedding in the Adelaide hills yesterday... What I wouldn't have given for access to their coolroom!

Personally, I prefer my gold in bullion format.

My wedding ring was gold and look where that got me

I like the shirt, it's not too bad... but get rid of the rest of the bling. Wonder how much it weighs?

Are you sure Sam? Has that indulgence of the EpiQure varieties hazed your eyesight ? Each to their own I suppose.. Your trademark red Q variety is more suited for your persona Sam.. ;):D

I just wonder if it would be drycleaned to rid of BO.

No, that's part of its musky charm.

I adore the matching Wonder Woman wristbands though, just in case you missed the gold shirt, gold neck rope, gold watch and rings on each finger.

current bullion price suggests no more than 2 ounces.

The article says that he had the rings made from the leftover gold, so presumably a bit there (unless of course the rings are made from a mix of alloys -- entirely possible!)

The other gem from the article:

'I know I am not the best looking man in the world but surely no woman could fail to be dazzled by this shirt?'

I'm not sure his looks are rather his problem ....

It could really be no more that 9ct gold, IMO. Otherwise, surely it would be too soft.
