The Velocity Status Run Master thread

This should help further clarify as well;

An itinerary that involves a change in aircraft but retains the same flight number is considered a single flight segment, whereas an itinerary that consists of a change in flight numbers, even if the same aircraft is used for the entire itinerary, will be considered two flight segments.

I'm surprised no one has commented on this bit!

Is the booking post June? Perhaps the reward seat no longer earns SCs and is confusing things?

From my understanding you should get

2 x flexi zone 2 @ 30 = 60
2 x flexi zone 3 @ 40 = 80
1 x J zone 2 @ 60 = 60
1 x J zone 3 @ 80 = 80

Total - 280 each way if flying before June 30 (I think that was the promo date expiry).

I have no idea why VA would say OOL-PER x MEL would not earn by sector. Their own map show a very similar route HBA-PER x MEL as earning two sectors. Their explanatory text agrees

So what's the deal? Inexperienced phone support? There are no direct OOL-PER flights, so a connection is the only way with VA to fly OOL-PER and all their information (AFAIK) indicates SCs and eligible sectors will accrue by sectors.

Shame about the SC's but it also means one 2for1 instead of two and less of my upgrade vouchers :)

Yes - I had someone PM me to ask about a particular fare (they couldn't contact lobo because his PM box was full). Tried replying, and their inbox is full too!

Sorry about that! Didn't know there was a 25 message limit. It's cleared now and I've granted access to a bunch more people.

Hi lobo76, can you please grant me access. I sent you a PM that should have got through as there was no inbox full message.

AFAIK...It doesn't have to be @gmail.com, but it needs to be a Google-registered email address (I.e. you have an account you can log with at Google.com or it's partner sites)

https://accounts.google.com/NewAccount

I'm not sure what the process is... You might be asked for a password after lobo grants access if you don't have a Google account. or you might need to set up an account before requesting access.

P.S. - I hope there are people wanting to add flights too - not just look. I think all the flights that are in there have been added by 3 people. Surely other people know of other flights!

the info is really good. Thanks to all who have contributed or pm'ed me.

Thanks to lobo76 for setting up the spreadsheet. :)

Can I make a small suggestion (I didn't want to change the spreadsheet if you don't think it's necessary)? Can we have a column for "Class"? I'm assuming the points runs are all for J, or do we still want to make ppl do a little work to find the rewards?

I guess I'm hoping a few of the pre 13th Jan high score runs may re-appear.

Actually Brent looks to have made most of the changes (added runs, made new columns/formulae) so kudos to him!

It looks like people are filling class info into 'notes' if it's not J/Z but feel free to add a column if you like. It's a living breathing doc and if it gets messed up I can revert to a prev revision.

Yes, they were available in those periods. Not as good as the 200SCs for 5,500 points but there is some good ones there for those that can use them.
Outstanding...are all these runs for the promotional period ending 30th June ?

Many thanks lobo76. It's starting to take shape

Yes my thanks too. This is looking excellent!

Just a couple of suggestions:
- Can we list the Runs in value order (i.e. starting with lowest number of points/$ per SC?) The more deals we get onto here the more complicated the list will get and from my experience, where people are looking to do SRs they first look for the best value, then for the starting point, length etc.
- Can QF have their own spreadsheet? There cant be that many people on this site passionate about SRs for both programs? Usually people just concentrate on 1.
- Perhaps where someone comes across a mistake fare etc they could simply post 'check the spreadsheet!!' in this thread and that would alert people that something juicy might have come up.
- Is there a criteria for joining the group? 100 days + 100 posts membership minimum?

1) QF does have it's own tab. Do you mean a separate sheet or just have this as VA? I'm keen to have just as VA to be honest.
2) Agreed on the value order.
3) Criteria for joining is a tough one. Obviously a member who has value-added to the forum and in particular the VA section preferbly.

Perhaps we make another tab for unavailable/expired deals?
