I have the same fate as him, lying on a deck chair under a coconut tree looking out at a blue lagoon and having a mojito, it's just terrible.

Obviously this isn't feasible for everyone but I happened to be doing another MR for a UA 1K status match to HNL and found what I deemed to be excellent SC earnings on island hops round Hawaii with HA.

All flights in F around the Hawaiian islands with HA earn 40SCs, so on a direct flight (all 38 minutes of it) from HNL-OGG you can earn 40SCs for ~$170 AUD.

The real trick I've found is in the multi stop flights from HNL to ITO or KOA.

I just booked HNL-OGG-ITO and ITO-OGG-HNL for my last day in Hawaii for $502 AUD so at ~$3.13 p/SC I'm pretty happy with that!

Fingers crossed it all credits as I expect it should but I'll let everyone know in a few weeks!

Nicely spotted. Are the multi hops different flight numbers for each leg?

Sure are, that's why I was hoping to get 160SCs for the round trip. To be precise this is what I booked:

HA384
Saturday, May 4, 2013
Oahu - Honolulu, HI (HNL) 11:55 AM
Maui - Kahului, HI (OGG) 12:33 PM
First/Nonstop

HA152
Saturday, May 4, 2013
Maui - Kahului, HI (OGG) 01:17 PM
Big Island - Hilo, HI (ITO) 01:54 PM
First/Nonstop

HA179
Saturday, May 4, 2013
Big Island - Hilo, HI (ITO) 05:07 PM
Maui - Kahului, HI (OGG) 05:44 PM
First/Nonstop

HA545
Saturday, May 4, 2013
Maui - Kahului, HI (OGG) 06:15 PM
Oahu - Honolulu, HI (HNL) 06:49 PM
First/Nonstop

I've seen those 1-stop flights as low as around the $220 mark so you could theoretically bring the $/SC down even lower with a bit of planning. Unfortunately with HNL being the hub most of the flights are direct so you're left with less options, but if you started on one of the other islands besides Maui there's plenty of 1-stop itineraries that come up from say ITO or KOA to LIH and vice versa. All passing through OGG or HNL though

Soooooooo annoyed! I know lobos is in RAR anyway, but I thought I'd sent him a pm, turns out I didn't! So now the wait starts - again!

jazza1971 - from what I have found A68 is only on a Sunday with only 1 availability in April & 1 in June , it then opens up a bit more in July .

Can anyone get an A68 to work as per spreadsheet? A67 no dramas.....booked A16s for the missus and I :D
