All good things must come to an end. After a little bit more than seven weeks we are on the way home.

BA for the first leg ZRH-LHR. For some reason we had no access to the Aspire lounge and due to issues with the caterer there was no food on board, so we each got a CFR23 (AU$36) voucher to spend at the terminal. With Swiss prices combined with airport extortion one voucher bought two coffees and a piece of cake, the other two bread rolls.

Mrs jxv and I are on the same QF booking, but in ZRH they could not print my boarding passes for QF2 and QF36. The mind boggles. All sorted at the LHR QF lounge.

Nearly at LHR.

The restaurant is very quiet at this time of night (11:30pm). More staff than diners. It is a 4-hour layover with a 2:00am departure for Perth.

Yes, indeed, the holiday is over. I am currently in the Al Mourjan Lounge drinking a green tea. After the last four weeks, the time has come to abstain for awhile. The restaurant is very quiet at this time of night (11:30pm). More staff than diners. It is a 4-hour layover with a 2:00am departure for Perth.
