The view from my "office"

Bunker vessel, commonly referred to as the bunker barge. The large floating fenders are called Yokohamas.
I’ve seen many a bunkering over the years, but never realised there was an actual name for the bumpers. I even saw new ones being delivered to the dock in Broome earlier this year. These look like new tyres too, not used tyres as I would have expected.

That's a helluva tide at Broome.

The view from my LGW office going to BGI, first flight of the year, first longhaul in Y in a very long time. However, it's a 100% Y flight so I'm still flying the top cabin ;) When everyone else is in the same boat I don't care so much, no pun intended.... ah, the things you do to add 5 countries to the list in a week!

Still on the tarmac, sitting on the plane. Very, very warm. UK261 compensation has kicked in at least.... doesn't look like we are going anywhere any time soon so hopefully we can get off the plane.
OT, how do you go about making a claim for UK261?

I was there last week, it was amazing.

Despite @Hvr’s recommendation when we caught up for evening drinks at Millenium Hilton, I didn’t end up visiting this mall. I somehow caught the Bangkok belly (if there’s such a thing) and couldn’t even enjoy the yummy food I was so looking forward to. The night views from Sky bar at Millenium was quite enjoyable though and prime spot for the NYE countdown from the hotel
