Our local friendly dolphin decided it needed to play with us today as we were trying to berth the boat. Port Broughton SA.
It was going under the boat. With the boat. Behind the boat. Dashing away and coming back. Rolled over on its back next to us. Stayed with us for about 30 minutes, We had to keep cutting the motor, only switching back on when we came close to crashing into rocks. šŸ˜³šŸ˜‚

These two were cut from a Video. Which was actually hilarious as while all this was happening, we were being 'officially' being interviewed (and videoed) by a State Government Marine safety official querying whether we had complied with all safety requirements. I just wanted to film the dolphin. šŸ˜‚. We knew we were compliant so no need for us to be worried.

Mstr Scarlett really enjoyed his birthday-present trip. The 747 wing walk photos are on his phone.

Luminous Longreach in the evening was excellent and then we enjoyed the tour with John the next morning. Only about 12 pax at the evening show, 5 on our morning tour and then 4 for the wing walk so lots of time available for questions and ā€˜wandering offā€™.

He did have to earn his dinner one night by doing some chores at Longreach GC. šŸ˜

(my favourite kind of office)

Iā€™d also note that I flew on VH-EBQ when in service in Jan 1996, HNL-SYD. Canā€™t say the same for the other museum exhibits (not old enough - but have plenty of hours in 707s and one trip in a Dak)

Stony Point ferry just heading to Tankerton Jetty.

Iā€™m going for C17 rather than a Herc. Did it look like being on climb or descent to Amberley?
No it was well into the flight to CNS and they passed under and across us left to right heading for the Coast, so not sure where it was going

We bought day tickets for Strasbourg public transport today and one of the places we visited was the Parque des Deux Rives. It was constructed in 1999 to celebrate 50 years of European unity by linking parks on the French and German banks of the Rhine with a pedestrian bridge.
