I am not enamoured with Bali - only been once in the late 1990s. Step outside the resort and hassled by street vendors, even on beach people wanting money to braid or massage - I don't do that well at all - just leave me alone! I hear it is different now but with the hot weather, Mr LtL can't get in the sun.

I can't go out in the sun and dislike hot weather and humidity so certainly not for me. I also hate being hassled

Last night’s office in the Melbourne Museum. A silent disco - 80’s theme. Everyone had headphones and could choose from three channels (DJs). And no, photos of what Mrs Tam and I were wearing will not be published!

More or less our final view, with less than an hour until we head to the airport. The interior courtyard of the Hard Rock. Quite nice.

Leaving Auckland airport on my way to Coromandel Peninsula I passed a dedicate car park for plane spotting.

I stopped briefing because an NZ 777 heavy was about to depart.

We convinced our German friend to visit sunny Perth. She arrived last night and we took her to Cottesloe beach today. Perfect swimming weather - about 12 C and the rain was coming in sideways.

I saw plenty of people getting on the train as I was heading home. All happy and eager in their South African hats and scarves. I did not envy them yesterday’s weather!
