Downtown Cairo. Currently enjoying the Executive Lounge at the Hilton. First visit to the Cairo Museum today, will return on Thursday to take it in at our leisure.

Apologies that the focus is not too good but I had to be quick. Out our window this morning. We've been watching mother bird for the past few weeks and babies hatched while we were in Sydney over the weekend.

Nice mountain scenery today in the Cairngorms.

We have cousins with a house out of Cromdale in the Cairngorms. They were gifted a barn and then had to put in planning requests to be able to build a new place. All up it took several years but they now have a house with a wonderful view and some cattle that they sell off.
I also remember driving from Balmoral Castle at Crathie where a friend and I were staying in a cottage* up to Tomintoul as her husband's parents had come from there originally. Hairy road in parts.

* can really recommend that; we had the run of the grounds and could go walking in the evening though the gardens etc.

A quick trip to the nation's capital then WP? Not even time for a coffee! Your third photo is about 500m from our place. They actually play Rugby over at Bruce, though we've had some AFL and of course cricket matches here.

Laguna Bay at the end of Park Rd. Love that spot, it's where I warm up for the jog to Hell's Gate and back.

Yes I know the feeling. Living on the coast I make sure my lunchroom walk includes about 5k's of coastal walks.

The southern landing is terrific.

Firstly apologies for the extra photos in this thread. Today was an amazing day being the only tourist inside the Red Pyramid at Dashur, the "Unfinished" Pyramid of Meidum, and Rahotep's Mastaba at Meidum.
