The famed Ruta 40. 5000km from the far S of Argentina (and counting from the S) to the far N, mostly along the E edge of a few little hills called the Andes.

A mix of dirt and excellent sealed roads.

Waddayamean they don't look real? This part of western Argentina has the highest concentration of volcanic cones in the world. So many it was hard to get a definitive pic. Everything you see is a cone or a vent.

That is not the view from the top of Huyana Picchu that I recall. Have the Incas been doing reconstruction? .

Have you been to Fortnum and Mason - that is amazing. I've got six weeks in London coming up and my google maps is full of stars of saved locations for all the bakeries and patisseries

I love the ground floor restaurant at the back overlooking Jermyn St. It is in a raised section, and we try to stop there once on every trip to London even if only for tea and a gooseberry danish.

YES ! we are back at sea level, the headache, nose bleeds and the shortness of breath have all settled.
