LOL - at Christmas. It runs from end November till Christmas Eve. We had planned to be in Sapporo over Christmas but decided to wait till Feb now for the Ice Festival. This was last year's info:

Thought that may have been the case, but as above they are having an 'Octoberfest' in June. Something else to think about in future, the boss gets a new knee in late Sept, so we won't be going anywhere for a while, well, she won't!

If you like Japanese beer the Sapporo between mid july-mid august is worth a visit for the Sapporo Beer Festival.We happened to be there for it so naturally a TR but just of Sapporo.the videos are no longer working though.
