The view from my "office"

Crazy weather in ADL - I'm wondering if winter is actually on the cards!! So much so, I've been at the beach this week - today's office was split between Cibo & the jetty. :)

SWMBO says: At least it's easy to see if there are crocs between the mangrove trees and water...

Well not that easy to spot...

So that's a good effort to blend in the surroundings, but this croc is even more cunning in its approach to camouflage!!!

They were spectacular, I saw them at the NYBG 6 weeks ago and there are even more of them inside the building. A couple of years ago I saw the huge glass ceiling at the Bellagio. Many years ago there was an exhibition at the National Gallery of Aus where I first saw his works.

They have some in Bellagio in LV and Harrods in London

Would love to get to this https://www.nybg.org/event/chihuly/

If I win Lotto this weekend I might fly across for the weekend

Lucky you - just a little bit (lot) jealous but pleased for you

View from the Top of the Rock, NYC, with the Empire State Building still looking good

Apparently our cricket captain proposed there a couple of days ago and she said yes - don't suppose anyone saw that - mind you theoretically he's unemployed now isn't he

Our 'home office' view this afternoon and then over in the thick of it. Forage markets (food vans and stalls) over at the Little National carpark. Bought a bottle of Canberra gin and some chocolate. Heaps of people and long queues for many of the stalls. The first photo is a bit off as the sun was low. Earlier the roads were packed with cars trying to turn into the multi-storey car park.
