Did you go into the Guggenheim? I loathed it.
We will probably not bother to go inside. I think it is like Parliament House in Canberra -the building is more interesting than what it contains. Art created after the early 20th Century often leaves me cold. Impressionism & Pointillism are more my style. We flew from Perth to Canberra primarily to see the Impressionists from the Musée d'Orsay during the 2009 Masterpieces exhibition tour.Did you go into the Guggenheim? I loathed it.
That would have to rate as one of the ugliest structures in the world, surely!

Same level as CX Wing First - that's at the South end. The QP is at the Northern end (IMHO you didn't miss much). Can anyone tell me when the heck the QP is at HKG? Just a bunch of hordings where I thought it was.
Edit. Boarding. Never found it.
Except the really good cheesecake...Same level as CX Wing First - that's at the South end. The QP is at the Northern end (IMHO you didn't miss much).

I used to have a 1L tin of it.Nothing that a bit of 2,4,5 T won't fix to get the place suitable for prospecting again.
Went to MONA for the first time recently. Tas residents are free. Saw it, don't need to go again. Like the Guggenheim the are some interesting exhibits, but most just try to shock for shock's sake.
I was pretty confident not to have missed much; I just wanted a sticky beak, as I haven't been there for many years - since before they enhanced the QF First lounge.
I scoff at your words. It is a beautiful piece of late 19th Century engineering. First opened in 1893, the first transporter bridge to be built of metal (to clarify my initial post: it is the oldest operating transporter bridge in the world.) A World Heritage Listed reminder of the heroic days of civil engineering.
An elegant solution...
You vandal!Well I'd suggest we'll have to disagree. IMHO, that is an engineering monstrosity that needs dynamite! Bloody awful would be a monumental understatement!
