That looks a little like a hospital bed
Yeah, but great view..... I had staff ringing me for payment authorisations while lying here in recovery, so I guess it counted as my "office" for the day. The view is certainly more spectacular than my regulat 6-day a week office.

re: The view from my "office"

Hope you have recovered now. That's dedication. It certainly does count as your office IMO :)
Yes, well on the way...... just a knee arthroscopy; pleasantly surprised at the lack of post-op pain - no meds necessary 24 hours on.

Tasmania has a university?? When did that happen??

Surprising where it ranks in the world..... Speaking of world - Universities are a different world, compared to the working world I normally live in

One of the problems with the 'net is that you can never be sure whether someone is asking a genuine question or throwing out a sarcastic one-line put-down.

My son is studying at the Australian Maritime College at UTAS in Launceston: the AMC is very highly regarded as a institution worldwide. But like many others, until he decided he wanted to pursue Ocean Engineering, I had no idea that UTAS offered courses of world-beating calibre.
