Ritz-Carlton at Barrack St near the jetty. The area has changed so much since we were last here. Still a lot of building work going on. We had a few days at Doubletree by Hilton just across the road and three nights at Samphire on Rottnest. Really just came over to visit my elderly aunt and catch up with a cousin and now on the way home again.

Samphire was fine. We didn't eat breakfast there - just went to Dome cafe. Unfortunately Isola was closed (the Italian restaurant) so we couldn't eat there, so had 2 meals at the pub and one at Lontana. They had a couple of guest 'experiences' at an extra fee which could have been good - we were busy one day and leaving the next. One was a wine tasting and the other oysters and bubbles. Location is good - we walked with our luggage from the ferry but had our cases transferred to the ferry and picked them up back in Perth.
