Yep @Wing Nut and have to say, many a fond memory of lunch at my school friend Anna's pub Doyles over the road.Was that Mordialloc Creek? We walked around there a couple of years back and there were some classic old timers in that little marina.

It was then onto Trim Castle, and I'd really recommend doing the guided tour (€5) while there, it's the only way to get inside the keep. The grounds are free to wander around. Our tour guide was very good, very chatty and knew lots of stuff about stuff. It helps there was only Mrs FB, myself and 2 other travellers.
