TT676 (A320 VH-VNF, the 0720 hours morning SYD - CNS on Monday 18 February) took off at 0820. Arrival should be at 1008 hours, 43 late.

With MEL congested - not unusual for a Friday morning - TT451 (0915 hours MEL - ADL, A320 VH-VND) did not become airborne on 22 February 2019 until 1018, about 45 - 50 minutes tardy.

Later, B738 VH-VUB on TT228, the 1105 hours MEL - SYD took off at 1150 so will be 37 minutes late arriving at 1307 this afternoon.

TT522 (1120 hours MEL - BNE, A320 VH_VNG) was as at 1210 still taxiing in the southern capital, so will be more than half an hour late into sunny Queensland. It had arrived in MEL on TT523 ex BNE 43 minutes late at 1123.

Monday 25 February finds TT243 (A320 VH-VNK, the 1305 hours SYD down to MEL in the sky not until 1521 hours) suggested as arriving at 1641, 121 late. This aircraft had been 115 minutes late arriving in SYD on TT228 ex MEL, the 1105 hours departure, but prior to that today had been punctual or close to it.

VNK was next on TT256, the 1645 MEL - SYD in the sky at 1755. Arrival is predicted for 1902 hours, 52 late.

TT814 (Sunday 3 March 2019, the scheduled 1305 hours lunchtime CBR up to BNE that took off at 1354) should arrive at 1423, 38 late with A320 VH-VNR.

TT243 (1305 hours SYD - MEL, Thursday 7 March 2019) was not in the sky until 1419. B738 VH-VUD should arrive at 1534 hours, 54 late.

During Friday 8 March 2019's evening, TT642, the 1720 hours ADL across to SYD airborne at 1955 should arrive at 2158 hours, 138 late. Aircraft is A320 VH-VNO.

This aircraft may have become defective in Coffs Harbour yesterday as after operating TT762 (the PER - SYD 6 March-originating redeye) and TT670 to CFS, the latter arriving at 0943 hours (23 late), it then did not fly again until TT9021 tonight, taking off from CFS at 1950 this evening and arriving in SYD at 2044.

On 8 March (today) this plane was inactive until TT641, the 1510 hours SYD - ADL that was in the sky at 1750, arriving at 1910, 140 late, explaining the delay back to Sydney.

Saturday 9 March 2019's TT851, the 1105 hours OOL down to HBA (A320 VH-VNG) took off at 1239 so arrival is a forecast 1601 hours, 76 late.

AT 0554 this morning, 26 minutes early, this plane arrived in MEL on the ex-PER redeye TT424. However TT501, the 0720 hours down to HBA did not take off until 0830, about 55 late, and since then the HBA - OOL TT852 has also been late.

TT527 (Tuesday 12 March 2019, the 1410 hours BNE - MEL in the air at 1653 hours, A320 VH-VNK) should arrive at 1956 hours, 141 minutes late.

Being a Tuesday, it's not busy, so the next flight for this aircraft isn't until 2145 hours (TT421 to PER).

On Wednesday 13 March, TT218 (0930 hours midmorning MEL up to SYD) and TT588, the 1520 hours MEL - CNS will be cancelled.

With hailstones having lashed some Sydney suburbs during the evening of Thursday 14 March 2019, there is a huge number of delays given that many aircraft have had to hold for extended periods. Some gave up and diverted to CBR or MEL.

TT775, the 2025 hours SYD across to PER was in the sky at 2148 with A320 VH-VNO. Arrival should be at about 2315 hours, 45 late.

The 1825 hours early evening MEL up to SYD, TT264 took off at 1912, about 32 late. B738 VH-VOR should however arrive at about 2215, 145 minutes late, so the journey has taken almost two hours more than the timetable mandates.

Many flights have been affected by significant rain of more than 45mm in Brisbane with Gold Coast also being soaked. TT387, the Friday 15 March scheduled 1905 hours BNE - SYD (A320 VH-VNO) took off at 2048 with arrival likely at 2304, 84 late. Touchdown time of 2259 is the relevant one for meeting the 2300 hours SYD curfew, not at gate arrival.

On Sunday 17 March 2019, TT218 (0930 hours MEL - SYD) did not take off until 1127. A320 VH-VNF should arrive at 1234 hours, 94 late. FR24 has an incomplete list of flights this plane is operating as it shows the next flight as from OOL tomorrow morning.

A delay of this magnitude means recovery to anything close to punctual operation for the rest of the day will be impossible unless either a return trip is cancelled or there is a lengthy layover in the middle of the day. The latter is unlikely on Sunday afternoon.

VH-VND on TT251, the 1440 hours SYD - MEL was airborne at 1536 so arrival should be at 1650, 35 late.

VH-VNF continues to be delayed on St Patrick's Day 2019. It took off from MEL at 1547 as TT461 (1335 hours MEL - ADL) so arrival is estimated as 1621 hours, 111 minutes late. Comparing the previous post, it has lost a further 17 minutes since this morning's TT218.

A320 VH-VNG on TT642, the 1720 hours afternoon ADL - SYD (Sunday 17 March 2019) took off at 1757. Expected arrival is 2010, half an hour behind.

TT532 (VH-VNH, the scheduled 1605 hours MEL - BNE up up and away at 1816 hours) is arriving at 1922, 122 late.

The BNE up to CNS Tt492 (VH-VNK) took off at 1823 with arrival predicted for 2024, 39 late.

On Monday 18 March, the 0700 hours SYD - MEL (TT213, A320 VH-XUH) had a bad start to the morning, taking off at 0805 and not helped by incurring a hold above Mt Buller. Arrival is estimated at 0934, 59 late.

TT550 (0725 hours MEL - OOL, A320 VH-VNF) is even less impressive, not becoming airborne until 0904 hours so it will be at least 75 late arriving.

Later on Monday 18 March, TT243 (B738 VH-VOY, the scheduled 1305 hours SYD down to MEL airborne 56 minutes later) looks to be arriving at 1417, 37 minutes behind schedule.

In the evening of Monday 18 March, TT667, 1825 hours MEL - CBR in the sky at 1924 (A320 VH-VNH) should be at its destination ready for passengers to alight at 2017 hours, 42 late.

AFFer CaptJCool advised - thank you - that fog in MEL on the morning of Wednesday 20 March 2019 was causing some delays. TT206, the 0645 hours MEL - SYD took off at 0730 so arrival for B738 VH-VOR should be half an hour late at 0845 hours.

In further on 20 March 2019, TT563 (1435 hours mid afternoon from OOL down to MEL, airborne at 1515 with B738 VH-VUD) was at 1808 hours holding above Toolleen (east of Bendigo) with arrival estimated as 1837 hours, 42 minutes late.
