Tigerair Australia Delays/Cancellations

TT279, the Thursday 18 April 2019 scheduled 2035 hours SYD - MEL took off at 2131 with B738 VH-VOR. Arrival should be at 2243, 33 late.

On Good Friday (19 April), what appears to be a positioning flight, TT9021, is operating from BNE down to SYD, having pushed back at 0706 hours. Aircraft is A320 VH-VNC. It had to hold for a while in the usual position west of Pokolbin.

Much later on 19 April (Good FRiday), A320 VH-VNK is on TT521, the 1405 hours afternoon BNE down to MEL airborne at 1548. Arrival should be at about 1748, 78 late.

Esater Saturday (20 April 2019) has TT449, the morning 0915 hours MEL across to ADL not having taken off until 1004 so for A320 VH-XUH, arrival at 1044 hours, 34 late is expected.

Easter Sunday's TT242 (21 April 2019, the scheduled 1305 hours lunchtime MEL up to SYD) is predicted to depart 70 late. Later TT252, the 1515 hours northbound should depart 45 late at 1600 hours.

UPDATE: TT252 (B738 VH-VOR) was in the sky at 1621 so SYD arrival should be 1731, 51 late.

Also on 21 April, TT536 (A320 VH-VNF, the 1645 hours MEL - BNE up up and away at 1835) should arrive at around the 2050 hours mark, 110 late.

TT560 (Monday 22 April, the 1300 hours MEL - OOL up up and away at 1416 with B738 VH-VUD) looks like arriving at 1614 hours, 69 late. This will delay TT561, the 1535 hours mid afternoon OOL - MEL to at least 1645 in departure.

Southbound TT585 from CNS down to MEL (VH-YVA, also a B738) should arrive at 1529, 39 late. www.airfleets.net still lists this as a VA plane, so has it recently been transferred to TT or is this a one off holiday 'wet lease' operation?

Wednesday 24 April's TT529, the 1530 hours mid afternoon BNE down to MEL that took off at 1625 with B738 VH-VUB is arriving at 1834, 39 late.

TT243, the Friday 26 April 2019 scheduled 1405 hours afternoon SYD down to MEL (A320 VH-VND) was up up and away at 1520 so arrival has become a suggested 1657 hours, 77 late.
'
Later, TT263, also a SYD - MEL but A320 VH-VNC, took off at 1933, 133 minutes after scheduled at gate departure, so arrival is likely at 2051, 116 late.

TT642 on Sunday 28 April has A320 VH-XUH and is the 1730 hours late afternoon ADL across to SYD airborne at 1937, just under two hours late. Predicted mainland Harbour City arrival has become 2137 hours, 107 late.

On Tuesday 30 April, TT758 (A320 VH-XUH), the 0055 hours PER - SYD did not take off until the unattractive time of 0306 hours, so arrival is 0906 hours, 116 minutes behind schedule.

Tt229, the Thursday 2 May 2019 scheduled SYD down to MEL at 1000 hours (A320 VH-VNH) did not become airborne until 1242. Arrival should be at 1358, 143 minutes behind schedule. This aircraft must be substituting for a failed colleague, as it arrived in SYD at 1128, 38 minutes tardy this morning on TT673 ex CFS and was requisitioned to run the Melbourne.

TT669 (Friday 3 May 2019, the timetabled 1625 hours CBR down to MEL with A320 VH-VNH) was airborne at 1811. Expected arrival is 95 late at 1910 hours as MEL is very busy (as one expects at this time on most Friday evenings). This plane arrived bang on time at 1220 hours on TT226, the 1055 hours late morning MEL up toYD but it was then all downhill for passengers (and the airline) with TT241, the 1255 hours SYD - MEL not in the sky until 1424 and consequently a similar delay to the MEL - CBR TT668.

TT572, the 1925 hours MEL - OOL is next so if the aircraft can turn around in 35 minutes - not always achievable - it may only be 20 minutes orso late. Unfortunately however delays often compound at this time at the end of the week.

The 1825 hours early evening MEL - HBA (TT505) is expected to depart an hour late.

On Monday 6 May 2019, TT229 (1000 hours morning SYD down to MEL) took off at 1138 with B738 VH-VOR. Arrival should be at 1255 hours, 80 late.

Tt226, the Wednesday 8 May 1055 hours MEL - SYD took off about 20 late at 1130. A320 VH-XUH should arrive at 1252 hours, 32 late.

TT213 (A320 VH-VNR) is the 0700 hours SYD - MEL (Friday 10 May) that was in the sky at 0746 hours. Arrival is expected 35 late at 0910.

Much later on 10 May, on a rainy and windy Friday afternoon, the ADL to MEL TT464, the 1415 hours airborne at 1512 should arrive at 1650 hours, 45 late with A320 VH-VNH.

A320 VH-XUG on QF511, the 0610 hours Monday 13 May 2019 BNE down to MEL did not become airborne until 0753 so arrival should be at 1001 hours, 86 late.

TT219 (1020 hours scheduled arrival in MEL ex SYD) was cancelled.

The 0915 hours MEL - BNE, TT518, is expected to depart an hour late.

Later on Monday 13 May, the same aircraft as in the post above, A320 VH-XUG was on TT381, the afternoon 1645 hours BNE down to SYD that took off at 1810. Expected arrival is 1927, 67 late, so from roughly 1000 this morning in nine and a half hours it has had a net gain of about 20 minutes on the schedules and layovers.
